Wolf Anonymous The Tonawanda News The Tonawanda News Fri Jan 10, 2014, 03:01 PM EST TONAWANDA — Bonita (nee Russell) Wolf, age 68, of Tonawanda, died Thursday, January 9, 2014, after a brief illness, at her home under the care of her family and Hospice. Born in North Tonawanda, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Edna (nee Holka) Russell and had been a lifelong resident of Tonawanda. Bonita had worked for several companies, including R.T. Jones, Brimms, Inc., Airlock Plastic and Laidlaw Transportation. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, John D. Wolf, Sr.; beloved mother of her daughter, Sharon (Paul) Brumfield, and three sons, John (Debra) Wolf, Jr., Dean (Katherine) Wolf and Michael (Nicole) Wolf; beloved grandmother of Shavonne (Marcus), Michael, Shawn, Amanda, Brandon, Zachery and Bradley; and beloved great-grandmother of Mercedes, Semira and Caleb. Also surviving are two sisters, Debbie Maracle and Anita Gronwall; her brother, Dennis Russell; and many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 PM on Monday only at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda, where services will be held at 7:30 PM Monday. Friends invited. wedding of Miss Bonnie
Sue Russell and John Douglas

the double ring ceremony.
Lawrence Wilson was organist.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Russell and
the bridegroom is the son of Mrs.
Ellen M. Wolf and Walter Douglas
Wolf.
The bride was given in marriage
by her uncle, Jerome Holka.
She wore a Chantilly lace over
tulle gown designed with a Sabrina
neckline, long sleeves and full
skirt extending into a chapellength
train. A crown trimmed in
sequins and pearls held her illusion
veil and she carried a colonial
bouquet of white glamellias
and lily of the valley.
Miss Rose Weatherbee, maid of
honor, was attired in a streetlength
dress of yellow lace and
a matching headpiece. She carried
a bouquet of yellow glamellias.
Mrs. David Snyder, the
bridesmaid, was attired in pink
lace and matching headpiece and
carried a bouquet of pink glamellias.
William Wolf, the bridegroom's
brother, was best man and David
Snyder was usher.
The bride's mother chose a
beige lace dress and the bridegroom's
mother wore a blue eyelet
lace dress. Both mothers chose
pink and white glamellia corsages.
A wedding breakfast was given
in Bedell's Restaurant. An afternoon
reception was given in the
home of the bridegroom's grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. William
Degenhart, 46 Highland Ave.
Mrs. Walter Wolf of California
was a guest at her grandson's
wedding. Other out of town guests
attended from Rochester, Ogdensville,
West Seneca, Buffalo and Niagara
Falls.
The couple traveled to Canada
on a wedding trip and will return
Sept. 15. They will make their
home in 69 Highland Ave.
