North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 6/7/1929

Mrs. Mary A. Gardei, 69 years
old. wife of Isaac Gardei. died
Thursday morning at her home 332
Schenck street. Mrs. Gardei came
to North Tonawanda from Germany
at the age of one. She had
resided here since. She was a
member of the Ladies' Aid society
of St. Matthew's church.
Surviving besides her husband,
are two daughters, Mrs. Esther
Luck and Mrs. Robert Green, North
Tonawanda; three sons, Eugene,
Edwin and Ervin; a grandson,
Eugene, Jr., North Tonawanda, and
a sister, Mrs. Anna Haines, Tona-
wanda.
The funeral will be held Sunday
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the
late residence. Rev. Carl Franken-
stein of the St. Matthew's church
will officiate and burial will be in
St. Matthews cemetery.
Through a misunderstanding
announcement was made yesterday
that Mrs. Gardei was the wife of
the late Isaac Gardei.
