    Mrs. Ruth McQuinn of 141
    Syracuse St., Tonawanda, a
    secretary at Tonawanda Junior
    High School for the past 15
    years, died Saturday at Roswell
    Park Memorial Institute after
    an illness of about five weeks.
    She is survived by her husband
    Edward McQuinn; two
    daughters, two sisters and a
    brother.
    Services will be conducted at
    Hamp Funeral Home Inc..
    Adam-Seymour Streets, Tonawanda,
    at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday
    by the Rev. Luther Lautenschlager.
    Interment will be in
    White Chapel Memorial Park.

    Mrs. Harold A. Bohlman entertained
    Wednesday evening at her
    home at 102 Englewood avenue,
    Buffalo, the occasion being a linen
    shower in honor of Miss Ruth
    D. Bohlman whose marriage to
    Edward McQuinn takes place this
    month.
    The guests were entertained
    playing bridge and prizes were
    awarded to Mrs. Walter Witte and
    Mrs. Herman Thursam. A guest
    favor was presented to the brideelect.
    The house was beautifully decorated
    with flowers. Luncheon
    was served at one long table centered
    with a large cake on which
    stood a miniature bride. A wedding
    bell suspended by pink and
    white streamers hung above the
    table. Individual favors marked
    the places of the guests.

    Charles Bohlman. 64.former North
    Tonawanda merchant, died, suddenly
    Saturday night at his home , 329
    Schenk street. He was stricken
    while at the dinner table and died
    a few minutes later Death was
    attributed to heart disease.
    For many years Mr. Bohlman conducted
    a grocery store at Schenk
    and Falconer streets. He was a
    member of St. Peter's Lutheran
    church at Bryant and Thompson
    streets.
    He leaves a wife, Martha; thee
    daughters, Mrs. Edward McQuinn,
    Mrs. Elmer Doebler and Elva; son,
    Harold, Kenmore; two grandchidren
    and four sisters, Mrs. Herman Bach,
    Mrs. John Roloff, Mrs. Charles
    Schulmeister and Fred Vorpahl,
    North Tonawanda.
    Services will be held tomorrow
    afternoon at 2 o'clock from the resi-
    dence and at 2:30 from the St.
    Peter's church. The Rev. Ernst
    Schneppe will officiate and inter-ment will be in White Chapel
    Memorial park.

    August Bohlman, 61 years old, a
    well-known grocer of this city, died at
    his home at 358 Falconer street yesterday
    morning after a lingering illness.
    Mr. Bohlman was born in Germany
    And came to this country 23
    years ago. He worked at the grocery
    business all his life, having conducted
    a store here for the last 17 years.
    He was a prominent Republican and
    an active church worker. Besides a
    widow, one son,, Charles Bohlman; and
    four daughters, Mrs. Herman Bach,
    Mrs. John Roloff, Mrs. Charles Schu-
    meister and Miss Minnie Bohlman, all
    of this city, survive. The funeral will
    be held from the late home at 2 o'clock
    and a half hour later from the Saint
    Peter's church on Thompson street on
    Tuesday afternoon. Burial will be
    made at St. Peter's Cemetery.

    Mrs. Amelia Bohlman, 64 years old, widow of August Bolhman, late of North Tonawanda, died at her home at No. 358 Falconer street shortly before noon yesterday after a lingering illness. Four daughters, Mrs. Herman Bach, Mrs. John Roloff, Mrs. Charles Schulmeister and, Mrs. Fred Vorpahl, all of North Tonawanda; one son, Charles Bohlman of North Tonawanda, one sister, Mrs. Herman Acksel of Tonawanda, and three brothers, Charles and Julius Kriedemann of North Tonawanda and Rudolph Kriedemann of Germany survive. The funeral will be held from the family home at 2 o'clock on Sunday afternoon and a half hour later from St. Peter's church on Thompson street. Rev. R. A. Salzwedel officiating, Burial will be made in St. Peter's cemetery.
