    The marriage of Miss Caroline A
    Woodrich, daughter of Mr. an
    Iflnt, Charles Woodrlch, of 10
    East Felton street to Alvin J.
    Diebold of Getiville was solemnized
    Saturday, June 30th, in
    the Third Presbyterian church, the
    Rev. H. A. Depfer officiating in the
    presence of 75 relatives and
    friends. The church was decorated
    with palms, ferns and baskets
    of mixed flowers.
    Preceding the ceremony Miss
    laicille Calkins, organist of the
    church, played several selections,
    Festival March from Athalia, Sylvia,
    Handel's Largo, and Sweet
    Mystery of Life and the Misses
    Mildred and Emma Mollnow and
    Miss Margaret Kassay sang O Promise
    Me.
    The bride, given in marriage by
    her father, wore a gown of white
    net, the skirt and cape trimmed
    with ruffles and hand embroidered
    flowers, and her veil, arranged in
    cap shape, was adorned with orange
    blossoms. She carried a shower
    bouquet of white roses, lilies of
    the valley and sweetpeas.
    Miss Gertrude Rogge was maid
    of honor, wearing a gown of blue
    taffeta, with matching slippers and
    pink lace mitts, and she carried
    pink roses and sweetpeas. Little
    Janice McCombs, niece of the bride,
    was flower girl and wore a frock
    of pink taffeta with matching accessories.
    Woodrow Diebold, broth
    er of the groom, acted as best man,
    and the ushers were Charles Woodrich,
    brother of the bride, and
    George Diebold, brother of the
    groom.
    Mrs. Woodrlch, the bride's mother,
    wore blue novelty voile and
    Mrs. Diebold, the mother of the
    groom chose navy blue voile. Both
    wore corsages of white roses and
    s w ©etpeas.
    During the ceremony Miss Dorothy
    Maynard of Niagara Falls sang
    "Because", and Mrs. Grace McComb
    sister of the groom sang, "I Love
    You Truly".
    A wedding supper in 24 Washington
    street followed the ceremony,
    covers being laid for ten at the
    bride's table, which was decorated
    with ivory candles in silver holders,
    and a large wedding cake adorn
    ed with a miniature bride and
    groom. The house was decorated
    with white wedding bells, and baskets
    of delphinium, white roses
    and peonies.
    Mr. and Mrs. Diebold will make
    their home in 222 School street,
    Kenmore.
    Out of town guests were Mr. and
    Mrs. C. Diebold and family, Mr.
    and Mrs. William Stahl, Getzville,
    Mr, and Mrs. I. Diebold, Kenmore.
    Miss Pearl Thayer, Akron, Miss
    Laura Hinkson, Buffalo, Mrs. Gordon
    Krouse and son, Gordon, Detroit,
    Mich., Miss Dorothy Maynard.

    Charles Henry Woodrich. 69, died
    Saturday at the home of his daughter,
    Mrs. Alvin Diebold. Eric road.
    Town of Wheatfield. Mr. Woodrich
    was a member of the Third Presbyterian
    church.
    He is survlvved by his wife. Rena;
    thrge daughters, Mrs. Clark Helwig,
    this city, Mrs. Walter Mc-
    Combs, Niagara Falls, and Mrs.
    Diebold'. Wheatfield, and three
    brothers, Gustave Woodrich, Elba,
    Ernest and Edward Woodrich, Medina.
    Funeral services will be held tomorrow
    at 2:30' p. m. from the
    Fretthold funeral home, 1241 Oliver
    street. The Rev. William Saye
    will officiate. Burial will be in
    Rest Haven cemetery.

    W O O D R I C H - Lena M. Wood-
    rich, nee Bergemann, 74, of Errick
    Rd., Town of Wheatfield, died
    in the Sweeney St. Nursing Home
    Sunday evening after a long ill-
    ness. She was the wife of the late
    Charles Henry Woodrich, mother
    of Mrs. Carl Helwig of North Ton-
    awanda, Mrs. Walter Mccombs of
    Niagara Falls, and Mrs. Alvin
    Diebold of Town of Wheatfied.
    Survivors also include seven
    grandchildren, 14 great-grandchil-
    dren, and a brother, Fred Berge-
    mann of Lockport. She was a
    member of Twin City Council 37
    Daughters of America; Royal
    Neighbors of America; Women-s
    Benefit Association, Rosedale Re-
    bekah Lodge 386, and Third Pres-
    byterian Church. The Rebekah
    Lodge will conduct services at 7
    p.m. Tuesday in Fretthold Funer-
    al Home. Friends may call at the
    funeral home, 1241 Oliver St.,
    where services will be at 2 p.m.,
    Wednesday, the Rev. Richard Bo-
    dey officiating. Burial in Rest Ha-
    ven Cemetery.
