Woodruff, 72, of 49 Morgan St.,
Tonawanda, died Wednesday
morning (April 15. 1959) at home.
Born in North Tonawanda, he had
been a resident of the Tonawan-
das all his life. Mr. Woodruff was
a member of the Payne Avenue
Christian Church. He is survived
by his wife anna (nee Laux); a
daughter, Mrs. Charles Dallaster,
Clifton, N.H.; two sisters, Miss
Arley H. Woodruff, North Tona-
wanda and Mrs. Sidney F. Smith,
grand Island; a brother, Harold
F. Woodruff, North Tonawanda;
also survived by several nieces
and nephews. Friends may call at
the John O. Roth Funeral Home,
Morgan and william Sts., Tona-
wanda where services will be
held Saturday at 1:30 p.m.Rev.
Noel V. Blankenship will officiate.
Burial in Sweeney Cemetery.

NORTH TONAWANDA. Dec. 27 -
Stillman C. Woodruff, one of North
Tonawanda's best known citizens,
died at his home, 198 Christiana street
Saturday. Born In Wanpun, Wis., he
came to North Tonawanda when a
small boy and had resided here since.
He was t he first superintendent of
water works In the city, serving for
many years in t h a t capacity.
Surviving are ft widow, Marv K :
a daughter, Mrs. Sidney F. Smith of
Kenmore. and three sons. Arley H ,
George T. and Harold F. Woodruff
all of North Tonawanda. The funeral
will be held Tuesday afternoon
at 4 o'clock at the residence. The
Rev. Walter Mnnsell of the Payne
Avenue Church of Christ will conduct
the service and burial will be
In the Sweeney cemetery. Sutherland
Lodge will be in charge.

at the bride's home at No. 194 Christiana
street at 5 o'clock this afternoon
The ceremony was performed by the
Reverend Verle W. Blair of North
Tonawanda in the presence of only the
immediate relatives Among' the out-
of-town guests present were Mrs. Dora
Smith, the Misses Agnes aad Helen
Smith of Seneca Falls. Mr. and Mrs.
Smith left for Cleveland, where they
will make their future home.
