    E. Woods. 51. a veteran of World
    War I, died Monday night at his
    home, 316 Young street. He was
    stricken with a heart attack a few
    hours before death. A lifelong
    reaident of Tonawanda, he waa a
    member of the Niagara Hose com
    pany.
    Surviving are his wife. Francis,
    nee Steck; four sons. Private First
    Class James J. Woods, serving with
    the U. S. Army of Occupation In
    Germany; Private Donald Woods,
    serving with the AAF at Savanah,
    Ga„ and Raymond and LeRoy. at
    home; a daughter. Betty at home;
    his mother. Mrs. Elizabeth Woods,
    of Tonawanda; four sisters, Mrs.
    Grace Fetzer. of Sardinia, N. Y.,
    Mrs. Genevleve Rech and Mrs. Herbert
    Hoefert, of Tonawanda and
    Mrs. E. J. DePruy of Gartersburg,
    Md.
    Funeral service, will be held to-
    morrow afternoon at 3 45 o clock
    at the residence The Rev. Edgar
    Walker will officiate. Burial will
    be in White Chapel Memorial Park
    cemetery.

    the day. A lifelong resident of
    Tonawanda, he was a member of

    the AAF in Savanah, Ga., and
    Raymond and Leroy at home; a

    mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Woods of
    Tonawanda; four sisters, Mrs.
    Grace Fetzer of Sardinia, N. Y.,
    Mrs. Genevieve Rech of Tonawanda,
    Mrs. E. J. De Puy of Garthersburg,
    Md., and Mrs. Herbert
    Hoefert of Tonawanda. Rites will
    bo held Thursday afternoon at 3:45
    from the residence, the Rev. Edgar
    Walker officiating. Burial in
    White Chapel Memorial Park.

    WOODS - Frances G. Woods,
    aged 56, of 316 Young St., Tona
    wanda. passed away Tuesday eve-
    ning (Nov. 2, 1954) at DeGraff
    Memorial Hospital after a brief
    illness. Born in Buffalo, Mrs.
    Woods had resided in Tonawanda
    for the past 45 years and was a
    member of St. Francis Church. Her
    husband, the late James Woods,
    died in 1945. She is survived oy
    her daughter, Mrs. Raymond West;
    three sons. James, Donald and Le-
    Roy Woods: and five grandchildren,
    all of Tonawanda; two sisters.
    Mrs. Jack Linekin of New
    York City and Mrs. Mary Mendes*
    of Tonawanda; three brothers,;
    John, Michael and Charles Streck
    of North Tonawanda. Friends may
    call at the Hamp Funeral Home,,
    37 Adam St., Tonawanda, where
    services will be held Friday morn-
    ing at 8:45 and at 9:15 in
    Francis Church. The Rev. Wilbur
    Yeager will officiate.

    Elmwood Park, died last evening
    in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after
    a brief illness. She was a

    Surviving are four daughters, Mrs.
    Albert Fetzer, Sardinia; Mrs. Ephraim
    R, DePuy, Gaithersburg,
    Md., Mrs. Glenn Rech and Mrs.
    Herbert Hofert, Tonawanda; 19
    grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren;
    a brother, William Voelker
    of Spears, Pa. Funeral services
    will be Monday at 2 p. m.
    in the home of Mrs. Hofert, 235
    Morgan St. The Rev. E. C. Rorke
    will officiate. Burial will be in
    Sweeney Cemetery.

    dan, who had been employed more
    than 50 years at Buffalo Bolt Co.,
    died this morning after a brief ill-
    ness.
    He was Joseph Streck, 163 Lin-
    wood Ave. Born in Germany, Mr.
    Streck came to this country 60
    years ago, and lived in North Ton-
    awanda 50 years.
    He retired six years ago after
    working at Buffalo Bolt more than
    half a century. He was a member
    of St. Joseph's Church.
    Services will be at 9:30 a.m.
    Monday in the residence, and at
    10 a.m. in the church, the Rev.
    Chester H. Polewicz officiating.
