Announcement is made of the
engagement of Miss Audrey Rockenbrock,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Alix Rockenbrock, of 154 William
street, Tonawanda, to Walter Zimmerman,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto
Zimmerman of 212 Stenzel street,
North Tonawanda. Walter recently
returned from the European
theater of war and has received his
discharge after three years service
with the Army.

Palms, ferns and vases of cut
flowers decorated the chancel of
Salem Evangelical and Reformed
church on May 18 when at 4 p.
m. Miss Audrey Jean Rockenbrock
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex
W. Rockenbrock of 154 William
street and Walter A. Zimmerman
of 212 Stenzel street were united
in marriage.
The Rev. Walter F. Hetzel of-
ficiated.
The bride wore a gown of white
sheer figured marquisette, fas-
ioned with sweetheart neckline
rnd pinched waistline. Ruffles extended
down either side of the
akirt which extended into a train.
Her finger tip veil of illusion was
caught with clusters of orange
blossoms and she carried a bouquet
of lilies of the valley, white
carnations centered with sn orchid.
Attendants for ttoe bride were
Miss Ann Titzsimmons, maid of
honor; Miss Shirley Dawn Rockenbrock,
sister of the bride. Miss
Ruth Berndt, her cousin; and Miss
Helen Doucette, sister of the bridegroom,
bridesmaids. Their gowns
of aqua, blue, pink and yellow
nylon taffeta were fashioned with
round necklines, lace yokes, threequarter
length sleeves and full
akirts. An carried bouquets of
carnations and daisies to harmonize
with their gowns.
Attending Mr. Zimmerman were
Jack Harrington, his brother-inlaw,
as best man, and John Meyers
Jr., Gilbert Doucette and Allen
H. Butcheri as ushers.
Mrs. Rockenbrock, mother of
the bride, wore a navy blue dress
with white eyelet trim and a flowered
hat The bridegroom's mother
also selected navy blue with
matching accessories. Their corsages
were of rosea.
Following a wedding dinner in
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth
Giese, Delaware street, a reception
was held for 125 guests
Refreshments were served from a
table covered with a pink and
white doth, with tall candles
flanking a miniature bride and
groom decoration. Out of town
guests were present from Buffalo
and Niagara Falls.
Mr. and Mrs. Zimmerman left
for a motor trip to Canada the
bride wearing an attractive black
gabardine suit with white accessories
and orchid corsage. They
will make their home in 100 Elm
street.
