Angelo Fama II, 45, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on January 9, 1978 he was the son of Anita (Kennedy) Fama and the late Angelo Fama. Angelo enjoyed hunting, fishing and 4 wheeling. He was also an avid New York Yankees and Las Vegas Raiders fan. Angelo was compassionate about animals, especially his dogs. His greatest joy in life was his nephews "The Boys."


Besides his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Shannon Fama and Sheri (Ryan) Fama-Parish; nephews, Kyle and Christian.


There is NO PRIOR visitation. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. A Celebration of Angelo's Life will be held at a later date to be announced. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.

Angelo Fama passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, August 17, 2019 after a lengthy illness. He was 71. He was born in Niagara Falls on December 9, 1947, a son of the late Frank and Josephine (Valenza) Fama.
He graduated from Trott Vocational High School and then fought for his country in Vietnam as a proud member of the United States Army. He was honorably discharged in 1970 and married the love of his life, Anita Kennedy, on July 11, 1970 and they remained happily married for 49 years until his passing.
Angelo had a Masters Degree from Buffalo State University in Teaching and was a classic car and firearms enthusiast but his greatest joy was his time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife Anita Fama and three children: Shannon Fama-Barker of Niagara Falls, Sheri (Ryan Parish) Fama of Lakewood, CA and Angelo Fama II of Niagara Falls. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren: Kyle and Christian Barker and three siblings: Joseph (Elizabeth) Fama of Grand Island, Anthony (Danielle) Fama of Niagara Falls and Anitta Courson of Nevada and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two siblings: Floretta Rotella of Niagara Falls and Frank Fama, Jr. of Las Vegas.
Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue on Wednesday from 3-8 PM with military honors being held at 8 immediately following the visitation. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 AM followed by burial in Memorial Park Cemetery in Lewiston.

ring nuptials took place at 5 p.m.
The bride is the daughter. of Mr. and
Mrs. Thomas Hugh Kennedy, 632 .29th St.,
and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Fama, 9160 Griffon Ave.

MR. KENNEDY gave his daughter In
marriage. She was attired in a gown of
organza and Chantilly lace fashioned with
a ruffled lace bodice styled with a high
neckline and long sleeves. A ribbon bow accented
the waist and A-line skirt which terminated
in a chapel length train. A matching
capette headpiece of lace secured her. chapel
length veil and she carried a prayer book
with white daisy pompons and blue Rosary
beads belonging to her great grandmother.
Mrs. Lloyd Wainman was matron of honor
for her sister and -Miss Joan Heylek was
maid of honor. The matron of. honor wore
a pink chiffon gown with white cotton lace
accents at the mandarin neckline, empire
bodice and long, puffed sleeves. A floral
framer held her bouffant chapel length veil
and she carried a colonial bouquet 'of daisy
pompons tipped to match her gown. Similarly
attired-in-lavender-was-the maid-of_honor.
In similar gowns were the bridesmaids: Miss
Kathlene Valenza in green; Mrs. Richard'
Butera, yellow, and Mrs. John Hamilton, blue.
Junior bridesmaids Were Catherine Fama in
pink and Paula Rotella in lavender.

FRANK FAMA JR., Las Vegas, Nev., was
best man for his brother. Ushers were
Anthony Valenza, Daniel Nalepa, Wayne
Jaruszavicus and John Hamilton. Junior
ushers were Thomas Phelps and Thomas Turrill.
A reception was held at the Moose Lodge
after the ceremony.
Upon returning from a wedding trip to
the Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania, the couple
wi'l reside in Cudaback Avenue

NIAGARA FALLS — Thomas H. Kennedy of Niagara Falls, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2011 after a brief illness. He was 89. He was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on September 24, 2011, a son of Thomas H. and Maryann (McCartney) Kennedy, Sr.

Mr. Kennedy moved to the United States when he was six, attended local schools, and graduated from Trott Vocational School. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a Aerial Gunner from 1942 to 1946, serving in the European Theater from 1944-1946. Mr. Kennedy received numerous citations including the American and European Service Medals, African and Middle Eastern Service Medals, Good Conduct and World War II Victory Medals and the European Theater Battle Star. After the War, he worked at Union Carbide where he retired as a Supply Engineer. He enjoyed coaching hockey, bowling, was a member of the Niagara Falls Auxiliary Police and a member and past Commander of VFW Post 917.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Anita (Turrill) Kennedy; two daughters, Patricia Kennedy of Hillsdale Michigan and Anita (Angelo) Fama of Niagara Falls; five grandchildren, Tammy Kennedy, Shannon (James) Barker of Niagara Falls; Sheri Fama of California, Kari (Todd) Birchfield of Hillsdale, MI and Angelo Fama II of Niagara Falls. Mr. Kennedy is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Nicholas and April Shook and Kyle and Christian Barker.

Anita J. (Turrill) Kennedy, longtime resident of Niagara Falls and currently of Grand Island, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 26, 2021.  She was 97.  She was born in Orillia, Ontario, Canada on June 6, 1924, a daughter of the late Charles and Lila (Raymond) Turrill.  She attended schools in Canada and then married Thomas H. Kennedy, Jr. in 1942 at which point she moved to Niagara Falls, New York.  They remained happily married for 68 years until Mr. Kennedy’s passing in 2011. 
Mrs. Kennedy worked as an ammunition inspector for the United States Government during World War II and then began her life as a homemaker to raise their family.  She was a longtime member of V.F.W. Post 917 where she was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary and she enjoyed painting ceramics but her greatest joy was her time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two children:  Anita (late Angelo) Fama and Patricia Kennedy and her longtime companion Andrew Noyse of Hillsdale, Michigan and her cousin Jill (Larry) Gibb of Niagara Falls, Ontario.  She is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Shannon Fama-Barker, Sheri (Ryan) Fama-Parish, Angelo Fama II, Tammy DuBois and Kari (Todd) Birchfield and 5 great-grandchildren: Kyle and Christian Barker, Nicholas and April Shook and Jacob Birchfield.  In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by 5 siblings: Malcolm, Thomas and Edsel Turrill and Barbara Phelps and Isabel Turrill.
There will be no visitation and burial will be at a later time in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery in Lewiston.
