ERNEST F. ACHTERBERG
Ernest F. Achterberg, 68, died yesterday afternoon at his home, 1107 Oliver street He was born in Germany and had resided here the past 60 years. He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed church. Surviving are his wife, Ida; two daughters, Mrs. John F. Susty and Mrs. Edward C. Janowsky; a son, Ernest J., and two grandchildren. Other survivors are two brothers, Charles of Pickard's Bridge and Gustav of North Tonawanda, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Maerten of North Tonawanda. He was also a member of the Buffalo Bolt Mutual Aid Society. Rites will be held tuesday at 2 pm from the residence. The Rev. J. J. Braun will officiate. Burial will be in
Mountain View cemetery, Pekin, NY.

ACTERBERG - Ida C. Acterberg, 76, died Thursday evening (July 30, 1959) in her residence, 1207 Oliver St., after a long illness. Mrs. Acterberg was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Edward Janowsky and a son, Ernest Acterberg; a granddaughter, Miss Janice Janowsky; a sister, Mrs. Louise Kagelmacher, all of North Tonawanda. Friends may call at Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., where services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Donald Storm will officiate. Interment in Mt. View Cemetery.

Ferdinand Achterberg, 81 years old died yesterday afternoon at his home on the Niagara Falls boulevard at Wurlitzer after a long illness. Besides his wife, three sons, Charles Achterberg of the town of Wheatfield. Ernest and Gustav Achterberg of North Tonawanda, two daughters, Mrs Augusta Luther and Mrs Albert Maertin of the Tonawandas, 28 grandchildren and five great, grandchildren survive. The funeral
will be held Wednesday afternoon from the late residence- at 1:30 o'clock and a half hour later from St John's church at St Johnsburg. Burial will be in St John's cemetery.

Mrs. Ernestine Achterberg, 87 years old, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert J. Maerton. 52 Fredericka Street. Born in Germany, she had lived in the town of Wheatfield and North Tonawanda for the past 45 years. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Maerton and Mrs. August Luther, North Tonawanda; three sons, Charles, Pickard's Bridge and Ernest and Gustav North Tonawanda; 20 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the late residence and half an hour later at the St. John's church, St. Johnsburg. Rev. Walter Thiemecke will officiate and interment will be in the St. John's cemetery.
