John W. Blackwell,58 years old,
of 558 Twenty-sixth street, died at
his home this morning after a year's
illness. He was a native of England,
had resided here 34 years and before
becoming ill was employed by a
contractor at the plant of the Bell
Aircraft corporation.
He Is survived by his wife, Mrs,
Eva J. Blackwell: six sons, John L„
Frederick O., William H., Charles E.
and James C. Blackwell, of this city,
and Walter Ringler, of Buffalo;
three daughters, Bette Blackwell
and Mrs. Frederick Murray, of this
city, and Mrs. Donald Kllng. of
Kenmore. N. Y.. and four brothers
and two sisters in England.
Funeral services will be held at
the Bell chapel hpre at 3 p m. Sat-
urday with burial in Oakwood cem-
etery
