Funeral services will be conducted
by Rev. Walter J Ungsley
at 11 a.m. Thursday for
Ralph O. Austin Sr, 64, who
had lived in this city for 30
years prior to his .transfer by
the.DuPont Co. to Nashville,
Tenn.
Services will be held at the
Hilliard Funeral Home prior
to burial in Acacia Park
Cemetery. Masonic services
will be held tonight at the
funeral home.
Mr. Austin died Sunday
(June 4, 1961) at Vanderbilt
Hospital, Nashville, where
he had worked at the Old
Hickory Plant since 1955. He
completed 30 years of service
with DuPont last .month.
Mr! Austin was a member
of Tonawanda Lodge No. 247,
F&AM, the American Institute
of Industrial Engineers
and of the official board of
Beech Road Church, White
Creek, Tenn.
Surviving are his widow,
Buelah Austin; two sons,
Ralph O. Austin Jr., King-
ston, N.Y., and Arthur C.
Austin; his mother, Mrs.
Nana Austin, Galeston, Pa.;
a sister, Mrs. Clifford Nevin,
Newfane; and two grandchil-
dren; a brother, Harry N.
Austin, Lockport.

Ralph married HEAD, Beulah M about 1929. Beulah was born on 7 Jan 1911 in North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY; died on 7 Jan 2000 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

TONAWANDA, Dec. 17-Carlton
R. Austin, 70, of 50 West Main
St., Galeton, Pa., died Wednesday,
according to word received here
today.
He is survived by his wife, Nanna
Austin, two sons, Ralph A., this
city, and Harry N. Austin, Lockport;
one daughter, Mrs. Olive
Nevin, Newfane, six grandchildren
and one great grandchild. He was
a member of the Brotherhood of
Locomotive Engineers.
Friends may call at the Hilliard
Funeral Home here after noon tomorrow,
where services will be held
Sunday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in
Acacia Park Cemetery.
