    Gerald T. Adamczyk, 79 years old of Tonawanda, NY, passed away on January 28, 2019. He was born in Niagara Falls on October 5, 1939, the son of the late Stephen and Jean (Sliski) Adamczyk.
    Gerry attended Holy Trinity Parochial School, South Junior High School and was a 1957 graduate of Niagara Falls High School. He was a member of the United States Naval Reserves from 1957 until 1979. Gerry was employed by General Motors Powertrain Division for 48 years as a production worker and later in the tool services department until his retirement in 2009. He was a member of Woodmen of the World Camp 211 and Amvets Post 26.
    Gerry is survived by his daughter, Melinda (Richard) Schmidt; and his son, Matthew (Brenda) Adamczyk; one grandson, one granddaughter and three step-grandchildren. He is survived by his loving companion and partner, Suzanne Lindstrom; and his friend, Bill W. He was predeceased by his brother, John "Jack" (Marlene) Adamczyk.
    Friends may call on Friday from 3 until 7 PM at the LABUDA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 356 Portage Road, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Divine Mercy Parish, corner of Niagara and 24th Streets, with Rev. Duane R. Klizek officiating. Entombment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

    NIAGARA FALLS -
    Stephen Adamczyk, 97 years old, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Schoellkopf Health Care Center. He was born in Niagara Falls on May 26, 1916, the son of the late John and Anna (Stempien) Adamczyk.
    He attended local schools and worked in the maintenance department at Union Carbide for 42 years until his retirement in 1979. Mr. Adamczyk was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps during World War II. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World Camp 211 and a former board member of Neighborhood Housing Services for 12 years. In his younger years, he loved to fish.
    Mr. Adamczyk is survived by his son, Gerald Adamczyk of Buffalo; his daughter-in-law, Marlene (late John "Jack") Adamczyk of Niagara Falls; his sister, Sophie (Julian) Tomaszewski of Niagara Falls; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his great-grandson and great-granddaughter; as well as his sister, Valeria Pucak; and brothers, Stanley, Leon, John, Jr., Joseph and Edward Adamczyk.
    Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM at which time funeral services will be held at the LABUDA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 356 Portage Road, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Divine Mercy Parish, corner of Niagara Street and 24th Street with Rev. Jacek P. Mazur officiating. Flowers gratefully declined. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
