    WITMER-TANSLEY
    In the presence of a number of relatives
    and Intimate friends. Miss Hattie
    A. Tansley, only daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. John A. Tansley yesterday afternoon
    becamo the wife of Christian Wltmer,
    son of John M. "Witmer, of this city.
    The ceremony was performed at tho home
    of the bride's parents, No. 435 Second
    street, by the Rev. Albert S. Bacon, pas-
    tor of the First Presbyterian church.
    The bride, looking charming in her
    gown of hard-embroidered net over
    cream messaline satin, trimmed with
    baby Irish insertion, and carrying a show-
    er bouquet of bridal roses, entered the
    parlot, which had been prettily decorated
    with roses and evergreens, leaning on the
    arm of her father. She was attended
    by her cousin, Miss Maude robbins, of
    Lockport, who wore an Alice blue silk
    gown and carried pink carnations. Miss
    Edith Witmer, a sister of the groom,
    played the Mendelssohn wedding march.
    Charles Van Duser, Jr., was the best
    man. the general color scheme carried
    out in the decorations was pink and
    white.
    After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Wit-
    mer received the hearty congratulations of
    all present for a long and happy married
    life. A bountiful supper was served. Mr.
    and Mrs. Witmer left on the 11 o'clock
    train for Buffalo and this morning de-
    parted for Washington, D.C. where they
    will spend a week.
    Those present included S.E. Tansley of
    Hamilton, Ont., grandfather of the bride'

    Witmer, Howard, Jacob M., Edith M.,
    Jennie A. and Emma Witmer, Mrs. J.A.
    Tansley, Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Baker,
    Mr. and Mrs. D. I. Rise, Charles Hohler,
    and daughter, Miss Helen Hohler, Mr.
    and Mrs. J. A. Warrington, Mr. and Mrs.
    Adam Scott, Mr. and Mrs. H. K. Blan-
    chard, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Frier, Mr. and
    Mrs. A. C. Frier, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Van
    Duser, Fred W. Van Duser, Loren C.
    Frier, Miss Mamie Pfetsch and George H
    Calligan of this city; the Misses Sweet M.
    and Maude Robbins, Mr. and Mrs. W.
    Overend and daughter, Miss Ethel Over-
    end and Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson of
    Lockport; Mr. and Mrs. George Wolter
    of Buffalo and Mrs. R. Brick of Depew.

    1. WITMER, Norman T was born on 14 Jan 1913; died in 1928; was buried in Riverdale Cemetery, Town of Lewiston, Niagara County, NY.
