Married In York, Pa., on Wednesday.
The York Daily of Thursday has the
followiug account of the marriage of Miss
Marie Witmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    A. M. Witmer formerly of this city.
"A very pretty wedding took place in St.
    John's P. E. church at noon yesterday,
when Miss Marie Witmer, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Abraham Witmer, was united itu.
marriage to Mr. Chas. M. Eichelberger,- of
this city. 'Mr. Henry Bentz presided at
the organ, and as the rector, Rev. W.
    Q. Ware, entered the chancel, low,; sweet
music tilled the church, bursting into
the, louder, fuller stratus of Lohengrin's
chorus as the bride came up
the aisle on the arm of her" father. She
was met within the chancel by
the groom and. his attendant, Mr.
    Edward Prince,* of Philadelphia, and
    standing there in the softened
light, amid spring's fair blossoms and
    music's flowing harmony, the beautiful
ceremony of the Episcopal church was' '
most impressively rendered by Rev. W.
    U. Ware, whose clear rich tones made
every word solemnly distinct, and at its
close the two who now were one left the
    as a "wedding march" pealed
from the organ. The bride was very lovely
in a costume of tan and pale blue with
hat to match, while the groom looked well
in conventional black. The ushers wen-
Messrs. Schall and Eichelberger. Mr. and
Mrs. Eichelberger left on the 1:15 p.m.
train for a bridal trip and the hearty con-
gratulations of their friends followed them.
The bride was the recipient of a very large
    number of handsome presents.
The friends of the bride in this city will
join in the congratulations and wish that
her life may be all sunshine.
