    Vincent Joseph Accetta, 81, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life, unexpectedly, on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born on October 17, 1933 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Frank and Constance (Borrille) Accetta. On June 19, 1970, he married the former Julianna Meciszewski. She predeceased him on August 13, 2007.

    Mr. Accetta was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools. Vincent proudly served in the United States Army from 1951, until his honorable discharge in 1953. He was employed by the City of Niagara Falls, where he held various positions over the course of his career, until his retirement in 1990. Mr. Accetta enjoyed spending time with his friends on Pine Avenue.

    Mr. Accetta is survived by two children, James (Wendy) Accetta, Sr. and Julie (Leonard 'Skip') Sisler, Jr. both of Niagara Falls, NY; three grandchildren, James (Justina) Accetta, Jr., Taylor Accetta and Samuel Sisler and one great-grandchild, Chase Accetta. Vincent is also survived by six siblings, Rose (Sam) D'Angelo, Frank Accetta, Mary (late Art) Agnello, Constance (late Bert) Heckth, Pat (Sandy) Accetta and Helen Cowell, of whom he resided with for over 30 years, all of Niagara Falls, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by siblings, Catherine (late Ruben) Burns, Vincenette (George of Niagara Falls, Ontario) Kusko, Jeanette (late William) Miller, Frances (late Matthew) Bernat and Vincent Accetta.

    The family will be present to receive friends on Sunday, from 2-6 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007) where a funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Andrew Lauricella officiating. Interment, concluding with Military Honors, will follow in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.

    held at the Tubinis Funeral
    Home Tuesday at 8:15 a.m.
    and at Our Lady of the Rosary
    Church at 9 a.m.
    Burial will be in St. Joseph's
    Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the funeral
    home today and Monday
    from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.
    Prayers will be.recited Monday
    at 7 p.m.

    NIAGARA FALLS, Ont. - Mrs.
    Antlonette Borelll, 70, died yesterday
    at her home, 1711 Stanley
    street. Born In Italy, daughter of
    the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony
    Grande, she came here 44 years ago.
    Prior to that time she resided at
    Niagara Falls, N. Y., for ten years.
    Mrs. Borelli was a member of St.
    Anne's church. Her husband, Natall
    Borelli. died 15 years ago.
    Surviving are four sons, Dominic,
    Buffalo, N. Y.; Patsy, Felix and
    Natall, at home; three daughters,
    Mrs. Prank Accetta, Mrs. Frank Pltari,
    both of Niagara Falls, N. Y;
    Miss Teresa, at home, and 16 grandchildren.
    The body is resting at her home,
    from where funeral services will be
    held on Wednesday morning at 8:30
    o'clock to St. Anne's church for
    mass at 9 o'clock. Interment will
    be in Fairview cemetery.
