78, of 130 Fredericka St., North
Tonawandar died this morning
(March 4, 1957) in DeGraff Memorial
Hospital after a long illness.
He was the father of Mrs.
Charles 0"Callaghan and Norman
Brauer, both of the Town of
Wheatfield and Irene Brauer. He
also is survived by 4 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the
Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oli-
ver St., where services will be at
2 p.m.. Thursday, the Rev. Paul
H. Fretthold officiating. Interment
in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery.

Martha (daughter of GENET, Albert and REICK, Christina) was born in Dec 1882 in Niagara County, NY; died on 26 Jul 1956 in Degraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY. North Tonawanda, Thursday afternoon
(July 26, 1956) in DeGraff
Memorial Hospital after a long
illness. She was a member of the
Lutheran Worn e n s Missionary
League. She was wife of' William
A. Brauer; mother of Mrs. Charles
O'Callaghan and Norman and
Irene Brauer, and sister of August
and William Genet. Mrs. Ella
Strassburg, Charles, Emma and
Otto Genet and Mrs. Joseph Doyle.
Four grandchildren also survive.
Friends may call at Fretthold Funeral
Home, 1241 Oliver St. and
Ward Road, where services will
be at 3 p.m. Sunday, the Rev.

will be In St. Mark's Lutheran

John F. Brauer, aged 84 years, died
late yesterday afternnoon at the home
of his son,, William A. Brauer in 130
Fredericka street. Mr. Brauer was
bom in Germany and lived in this
cuntry for 78 years, practically all
of which he lived on t h e Nash road
in the Town or Wheatfield. He is
survived by h i s wife, t h r e e sons. Fred-
erick W. J. B r a u e r of T o n a w a n d a a n d
O t t o and W i l l i am A. B r a u e r . of North
Tonawanda and t h i r t e e n grandchil-
djpsn. He was a v e t e r a n of t h e Civil
War, having s e r v e d with Company B,
28th Rogiment. N. Y. Volunteer In
f a n t r y , from 1861 t o 63. He was a
member of t h e S a n b o r n Post G A R
The f u n e r a l will t a k e place Wednes-
day a f t e r n o o n a t o n e o'clock from 130

Mrs. Augusta H. Brauer. 81 years
old, died Saturday afternoon at the
home of her son. Otto Brauer, No. 194
Fredericka street. She is survived by
three sons, Otto and William Brauer
of North Tonawanda. and Frederick
Brauer of Tonawanda. and thirteen
grandchildren. The funeral will be
held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock
from the late residence and half an
hour later from St. Peter's church,
Washington street. Rev.Paul Fretthold
officiating: Burial will be At St. Johns-
burg.

Mrs. Christina Genet, 75 years old,, died this morning at her home, 293 Stenzil street. M,rs.Genet was born in Germany. She had resided in North Tonawanda for the past 49 years. She was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran church on Washington street. Surviving are a husband, Albert; four daughters, Mrs. William Brauer, Mrs. John Strassburg, Mrs. Joseph Doyle and Miss Emma Genet, North Tonawanda;, five sons, Herman. Lockport, August and William, Gasport. and Charles and Otto, North Tonawanda; 38 grandchildren and two grandchildren. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence and half an hour later from the St. Mark's church, Rev. Paul Fretthold officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mark's cemetery.
