Carrie Brlgham, wife of G. Ernest
Pearson, passed away at the Thorne
Invalid Home in Gasport Tuesday
morning, May 5, 1931. aged 33. She
leaves to mourn her loss besides her
husband, one son. Warren, her father
and mother, Mr. and Mrs. John Brig,
ham of Lockport, one sister, Mrs.
William Webster of Gasport and one
broettssir, Howard Brigham, Lockport.
Funeral will be held Thursday at
3:30 p.m. from the home of Howard
Brlgham. 383 East avenue, Lockport,
Rev. E. A. Duteher officiating, assisted
by Rev. Georges Hares. Burial in
Orangeport cemetery

The marriage of Miss Carrie Brig-
ham to Mr. G. Ernest Pearson was solemnized
at the Orangeport parsonage,
Wednesday afternoon by the Rev. J.
Elliott E p r i g h t They were accompanied
by Howard F. Brigham. brother of
the bride, and Miss Marie Steen. The
bride was attired In a dark navy blue
traveling suit and wore a corsage
bouquet of l i l i e s of the valley. T h e
groom was a l s o attired In navy blue.
Other wedding bells will ring soon.

Dr. John H- Brigham, 75 years
old, a veterinary surgeon who practiced
his profession here and
throughout Niagara county for
many years, died suddenly at 9
o'clock this morning at his home,
16 Adam street, after suffering a
stroke. He had a large circle of
friends and acquaintances, who held
him in veery high esteem for his
personal qualities as well as his
professional talent.
Dr. Brigham was born in Canada
and came to Niagara county when
nine years old. He lived for many
years on the Slayton Settlement
road near Gasport but had resided
in this city for the last 22 years.
He was a member of Gasport
Lodge, No. 407, I.O.O.F., and a charter
member of the Gasport Rebekah
lodge. He was a member of the
Gasport Congregational church.
He is survived by his wile, Mrs.
Cora A. Brigham; one son, Howard
Brigham, of this city; a daughter,
Mrs. William Webster, of Gasport;
and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Westfall,
of Roulette, Pa.
Funeral services will
Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock
at the home and at 3 o'clock at the
Gasport Congegational church. Inerment
will be at Orangeport cemetery.
The Gasport Lodge of Odd
Fellows will have charge of the
services at the grave

home Sunday about 12 o'clock of
pneumonia. The funeral will be held
from the house at 1 o'clock and at the
Congregational church at 2 o'clock
