BATH - Arthur Brush, 58.
died Tuesday, January 6, 1942
in Olean where for several
months he had been employed
as a machinist, engaged in de-
fense work.
Mr.. Brush was a son of Ed-
ward and Emma Stratton Brush,,
born in the neighboring Town of
Pulteney, passing nearly all of
his life in this community. He
was married in eearly life to De-
lia Eells, who survives with a
daughter, Mrs. Annabelle Mow-
ers' two brothers, Gordon and
Hibbard Brush, all of Bath; a
sister, Mrs. Mabel Davis, Wheel-
er.
The Rev.. George W Kee-
ling of Centenary Methodist
Church will officiate at funeral
service at the Hewlett Funeral
Home at 2 p.m.. Friday with
burial in Nondaga Cemetery.

West Morris Street, Bath, died Tuesday
in Lakeview Memorial Hospital.
The -widow of Arthur Brush, she
was born in Hammondsport Aug.
7. 1888. the daughter of Amasa and
Anna Gilbert Eells.

Mrs. Brush had resided here for
three years and was a member of the
Centenary Methodist Church and
Daughters of Union Veterans.
Surviving are a daughter/ Mrs.
James Mowers of Knoxville. Pa.; a
sister, Mrs. Fred Barrett of Ham
mondsport; a brother. Fred Eells of
Bath and four grandchildren.
The Rev. Harold Hewitt officiated
at funeral services Thursday after-
noon at the Fagan Funeral Home,
Burial was in Nondaga Cemetery.

Edgar Charles Brush, 76, died
Sunday morning at the Bath Hospital.
The funeral was held at
2 p. m. Tuesday at the Waldo
Funeral Home with burial in
Nondaga cemetery. Mr, Brush,
was born at Pulteney and passed
his life in Steuben County, for
the past 10 years living at Kano-
na. Surviving are sons Gordon,.
Clarence and Hibbard of Bath
and Arthur Brush, Wellsville;
and a daughter, Mrs. Mabel,
Davis, of Wheeler. Mr. Brush
was well- known as a man of
worth and character and was
held in general esteem.
