Notes:

KNAPP - Gordis E. Knapp, 72, of 116 Linwood Ave., North Tonawanda, died unexpectedly Thursday (Oct. 7, 1965) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Mr. Knapp was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Masonic Lodge 247, the Veteran of Foreign Wars and Post 264, American Legion. He had been an employe of former Buffalo Bolt Co. 43 years, retiring in 1959. He had served in World War I. He is survived by his wife Mildred (nee Moeller), a sister Mrs. Mary Knothe, and a brother, Lt. Raymond D. Knapp, both of Tonawanda. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Friends may call at Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver at Ward Road. The services will be Saturday at 2 pm. Family will be in attendance from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Rev. Russell R. Myers will officiate. Intermnet will be in Elmlawn Cemetery.
