ALLEN - George Hanson
Age 94, of Niagara Falls, NY, on September 8, 2020. Born June 15, 1926, in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Harris S. and Anna M. (Hanson) Allen. On May 31, 1952, George married Dorothy A. DiJoseph. Mrs. Allen predeceased him on December 6, 1996. George is survived by children, Jayson (Laura) Allen of Johns Island, SC, Randall (Marcie) Allen of North Tonawanda, NY, Barbara (Richard) Hoffman of Strykersville, NY and Iris (Gerry) Coté of College Station, TX; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Shirley Allen; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. George's funeral service, concluding with Navy Military Honors, will be held on Sunday, September 20th, at 11:30 AM at Riverside Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Laura Norris-Buisch officiating. Harry Sumner Allen, 86, of
8731 Buffalo Ave. died Sunday
(July 10, 1966) at the Fairchild
Nursing Home in Lewiston.
Born in Clinton, Mass., Mr.
Allen had resided in this area
for 60 years. He was employed
by the National Biscuit Co. as
a baker for 37 years, retiring
in 1947. He was a member of
the LaSalle and Whitney Avenue
Golden Age clubs.
He is survived by three daughters,
Mrs. William Goater and
Mrs. Gordon Cal, both of this
city, and Mrs. William G. Owler,
Matteson, Ill.; two sons, Warren
D. Allen and George H. Allen,
both of North Tonawanda; a
b r o t h e r , Rev. Ralph Allen,
Rochester and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Riverside
Presbyterian Church with Rev.
Ray K. Hallin officiating. Burial
will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

wedding of Miss Dorothy A. allen,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry s.
Allen, of Twenty-fifth street, and
Mr. Joseph William Goater, son
of Mr. and Mrs. William Goater of
Niagara avenue. The ceremony will
take place in the Hyde Park Pres-
byterian church Monday evening at
7 o'clock with the Rev. Thomas
Lamont officiating.
Miss allen has chosen as her at-
tendant her sister, Mrs. Gordon
Call and Mr. Goater will have Mr.
Kenneth Potter as his best man.
Miss Allen's youngest sister will be
the solist and Mirs. Lewis will ac-
company her and play the tradi-
tional wedding march.
