    At a ceremony held in Immanuel
    Lutheran Church on September 18
    at 4 p.m.. Miss Shirley Busch.
    -daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter
    Busch of 285 William St and Edward
    Allard, son of Mrs. Dorothy
    Allard of Ward Road, were united
    in marriage. The Rev. Theodore
    Schroeder officiated in a double
    ring service. The altar of the
    church was decorated with white
    gladioli and palms for the occasion-
    Sherwood Lorenz, guest organist,
    played traditional music and
    accompanied Miss Marian Van
    Hise who sang "Because" and "The
    Lord's Prayer".
    The bride, given in marriage by
    her father, wore a gown of white
    taffeta with sweetheart neckline
    outlined with rhinestones, long
    sleeves and full skirt with cathedral
    length train. Her fingertip veil
    of illusion was fastened to a tiara
    of rhinestones and she carrired a
    bridal bouquet of white gladioli
    Miss Joan Buckhout, maid
    honor, wore an orchid taffeta col
    ^nial gown with off-shoulder neck
    line, short sleeves and full skirt
    with bustle. She wore mitts to
    match her gown and flowers in
    her hair, and carried a bouquet of
    yellow gladioli. Miss Cecelia Burngasser
    and Mrs. Carlton Grobe,
    bridesmaids wore similar costumes
    of green and yellow taffeta and
    carried gladioli to contrast with
    their gowns. The Junior bridesmaid,
    Miss Nancy Liebeck, wora
    yellow taffeta and carried a colonial
    bouquet.
    Eugene Meyer attended the
    bridegroom as best man and the
    ushers were Ronald Helwig and
    Carlton Grobe. Richard Busch Jr.
    was the groomsman.
    A smoke gray dress with black
    accessories was worn by the mother
    of the bride, Mrs. Busch. Mrs.
    Allard, mother of the bridegroom,
    wore cocoa brown with brown accessories.
    Both wore corsages of
    mixed flowers.
    Dinner for the bridal party and
    immediate families was held in
    Fanger's Restaurant where the
    tables were covered with imported
    linen cloths used at the weddings
    of the bride's grandmother and
    mother. The tables were centered
    with flowers. Later a reception was
    given in Cleveland Hall.
    For her wedding trip to Rice
    Lake. Ontario, the bride chose a
    two piece dress with plaid top and
    brown skirt. Her accessories were
    brown and she wore a corsage of
    gardenias. Mr. and Mrs. Allard
    will be at home after October 1
    in 447 Fletcher St.
    Showers for the bride were giv-
    en by Miss Buckhout and Miss
    Burngasser, Mrs. Carlton Grobe
    and the bride's mother.
