Nancy Ann (Litz) Reeson, 88 of Gasport, wife of the late Thomas E. Reeson, Sr. entered into rest July 31,2022 at home with family.  She was born July 14, 1934 in Lockport to the late Howard and Bessie (Tall) Litz.

 

Nancy raised six children and helped run the family dairy farm.  In her later years she cared for her mother and mother-in-law along with several grandchildren.  She’d often say, “I would do it all over again.” Her favorite pastime/hobbies included: reading novels, playing cards, puzzle books and board games with her family.  Everyone knew how much she loved her cows, which is how her cow collection started.

 

Mrs. Reeson was predeceased by her husband Thomas Reeson Sr., son David (Cheryl) Reeson and grandchildren: Amanda and James. 

 

She is survived by her children: Thomas E. (Frances) Reeson Jr., Kevin Reeson, Jeffery Reeson Sr., Darlene (Barry) Butski, Mark (Tammy) Reeson, her grandchildren: Erin (Matt), Jennifer (Ian), Joseph (Olivia), Jonathon (Crystal), Jeffery Jr. (Myra), Paisley (Ahmad), Brewer (Melissa), Mark Jr., her sister: Shirley Thorman, as well as 11 great grandchildren. 

 

The family will receive friends at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main St.-Gasport, FRIDAY from 4-8pm where her funeral service will be held SATURDAY at 11am.  Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.  To share a special memory of Nancy, please visit: www.mitchellfamilyfuneralhomes.com
