    Miss Evelyn Bohnenstadt. daughter
    of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Bohnenstadt
    of Route 3, Lockport. became
    the bride of Ralph Hilts, son
    of Arthur Hilts of Niagara Falls,
    recently in St. Andrews' Lutheran
    Church, Pekin.
    The altar was banked with white,
    yellow end red pompons. The Rev.
    Christ Schmidt officiated and. the
    bride was given in marriage by her
    father. She wore a gown of white
    satin with long train and lung
    sleeves. The sweetheart neckline
    was trimmed with pearls. She wore
    a two-strand pearl necklace, gift of
    the groom. Her finger-tip veil was
    trimmed with lace and caught to
    a pearl crown. She carried a
    Colonial bouquet of white roses and
    pompons.
    Mrs. Ruth Schul, sister of the
    groom, was matron of honor. She
    wore a gown of blue flowered taffeta.
    Bridesmaids, Miss Adeline
    Trombley and Miss Lois Crotlott,
    wore pink and yeilov flowered
    dresses. All wore headdresses to
    match their dresses, two-urand
    pearl necklaces, gifts of the bride,
    and carried arm bouquets of yellow
    pompons and roses tied with ribbon
    matching their dresses
    Gordon Schul was best mau and
    ushers wer- Elswortn Bohnenstadt
    and Rienhold Kraaze.
    ° The bride's mother wore a green
    crepe gown trimmed with gold.
    With it she wore black accessories
    and a corsage of pink roses and
    tearose pompons. The grandmother
    of the bride wore black crepe
    dress trimmed with white and black
    accessories. She wore a corsage of
    red roses and lavender pompons.
    The bridegroom's mother wore a
    dark red velvet dress with black accessories
    and corsage of .rust color
    pompons and yellow roses The
    Misses Delores and Emmaud
    Schmidt sang and played the wedding
    music.
    Fifty guests attended a wedding
    dinner at the home of the bride's
    parents. Decorations were of yellow
    and pink. The bridal table was centered
    with a. three-tiered wedding
    cake and decorated with pink and
    yellow pompons and yellow candles.
    Guests were present from Niagara
    Falls. Lockport, Sanborn, Wilson
    and Buffalo.
    Mr. and Mrs., Hilts left for a
    short wedding trip, the bride wearing
    a green crepe dress with matching
    hat and tan coat. They will
    make their home with the bride's
    parents.
    Pre-nuptial entertainments for
    the bride Included: A variety shower
    given by the bride's mother; a
    linen shower by Mrs. Rienhold
    Kraase, a variety shower by Mrs.
    Arthur Hilts, Miss Lois Creticutt
    and Mrs. Gordon Schul, a bedroom
    shower given by. Mrs.'Powly.

    79 years, formerly of Upper Mt. Rd.,
    Lockport, N.Y. Husband of Esther;
    father of Elsworth Bohnstadt, Mrs.
    Ralph (Evelyn) Hilts, both of Lockport,
    N.Y., and Relnhold Kraase, Sanborn,
    N.Y. He-Is also survived by 4

    Tuesday ot 2 p.rn at St. Andrews

    Thursday (Sept. 26, 1968) in
    St. Petersburg, Fla.
    Born in Germany, he had
    lived in the Sanborn area until
    seven years ago when he
    moved to Florida. He had work-
    at the Light and Killer Alumn
    ium Co., Tonawanda, before
    his retirement.
    Survivors include his wife,
    Esther; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph
    (Evelyn) Hilts, and two sons,
    Ellsworth, both of Lockport,
    Reinhold Kraase, Sanborn, and
    four grandchildren and three
    great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held Tuesday
    at 2 p.m. at St. Andrew's Lutheran
    Church, Pekin, with the
    Rev. Wilbur Lottes, officiating.
    Burial will be in St. Andrew's
    Lutheran Church, Pekin, with

    She was a native of North
    Tonawanda and had lived in
    this area all her life.
    She was the wife of the late
    Rudolph H. Bohnstadt, who died
    in September of 1968.
    She was a member of the
    Ladies' Aid of St. Andrew's
    Lutheran Church.
    She is survived by two sons,
    Elsworth Bohnstadt of Lockport
    and Reinhold Kraase of Sanborn;
    one daughter, Mrs. Ralph
    (Evelyn) Hilts of .Sanborn; one
    broher, Elmer Voelker of. St.
    P e t e r s b u r g , Fla; four

    Friday. at 2 p.m. at St. Andrew's

    MRS. MATILDA VOELKER
    DIES AT CAMBRIA
    CAMBRIA, N. Y.-Mrs. Matilda
    M. Voelker, 78 years old, widow of
    Ferdinand Voelker, died Friday at
    the family home In the town of
    Cambria. Mrs. Voelker is survived
    by one son, Elmer Voelker, and one
    daughter, Mrs. Rudolph Bohnestadt,
    both of Cambria, and two
    brothers, Herman and Frank
    Mlelke, of Pekin, N. Y. Four grandchildren,
    one great grandchild and
    several nieces and nephews also
    survive.
    Funeral services were held from
    the home of the daughter, Mrs.
    Bohnestadt. Upper Mountain road,
    town of Cambria, this afternoon
    at 2 o'clock, and at 2:30 a t St.
    Andrew's church at Pekln. The
    Rev. Charles A. Schmidt will officiate.
    Interment will be ln St
    Andrew's cemetery.

    SANBORN, March 16.-Mr. and
    Mrs. Ferdinand Voelker celebrated on
    March 10. with friends and relatives,
    in honor of their golden wedding anniversary,
    at their home here. Mr.
    and Mrs. Voelker were married at
    Cambria on the Flach homestead in \
    1887, and have resided in this vicinlty
    ever since. The house was
    beautifully decorated In yellow and
    white with golden wedding bells. The
    tables were in yellow and white and
    the honored table was centered with
    a beautiful wedding cake and gold ,
    candle holders on either side.
    The honored guest was dressed In
    black crepe and wore a corsage of
    roses and hyacinth tied with gold,
    which was presented to her at the
    table by her grandson and daughter
    Mr. and Mrs. R. Kraase. Mrs. Zuch,
    the only surviving bridesmaid, was
    among the guests.
    The evening was spent in opening
    the many beautiful and useful gifts.
    The Rev. C. Schmidt gave a short
    talk, after which a mock wedding
    was performed by the young people,
    the clothes worn during the ceremo-
    ny were worn 50 years ago.
    She received congratulations from
    the following guests who were present:
    her daughter and son, Mr. and
    Mrs. Rudolph Bohenstadt. and family;
    Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Voelker and
    family and her grandchildren, Mr.
    and Mrs. Reinhold Kraase. of San-
