    Gladene A Morgan was called to her heavenly home on June 24, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Morgan, she is survived by her children Marlene (Joseph) Carr, Andy (Mary) Pellitieri, Tom (Su) Pellitieri, and Ann Marie (Michael) Mogenhan. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, Kathy (Aaron) White, Sarafina (Pete) Likoudis, Jessica (Christian Baker) Brunetto, Paul (Meg) Pellitieri, Drew (Andrea) Pellitieri, Patrick Mogenhan, and Nathan Mogenhan; 5 great-grandchildren, Alek and Parker White, Niko and Augustus Likoudis, and Leonora Pellitieri; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also survived by sister-in laws Nancy (late Ken) Zastrow, Jackie (late Paul) Zastrow, and brother-in-law Raymond (late Nancy) Neyerlin. She was the daughter of late Albert and Gertude (Gombert) Zastrow. Gladene attended St. John’s Lutheran School and graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 1951. She became a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in 1960 where she faithfully served as President and Treasurer of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. She also led many Bible Studies throughout the years. Gladene also enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She made many lap robes, pray shawls and hats that she donated to the local VA Hospital and premie hats for the Children’s Hospital She also supported many charities and missionaries throughout her life. There will be no Prior Visitation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 107 Scott St. (corner of William St.) Tonawanda, NY at 11 am with the Rev. Michael Dobler officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, St John’s Lutheran School 6950 Ward Rd., North Tonawanda, NY 14120, or a charity of your choice.

    The funeral services for Mrs. Rose
    Zastrow (nee Huebner) were held
    Friday afternoon from the home on
    the Buffalo-Niagara' Falls boulevard
    at 2:30 o'clock and half an hour later
    from St. John's church on the Ward
    road. The Rev. Walter Thiemecker
    officiated. Burial was in St, John's
    cemetery.

    SERVICES PLANNED FOR W. F. GOMBERT
    TOWN: OF WHEATFIELD July 7 - Funeral services for William Gombert, 74, Niagara Falls boulevard; will be conducted by the Rev. Walter F.; Thiemecke at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, at the John's Lutheran church, St. Johnsburg, where Mr..Gombert had been a trustee and elder for many Years. Services at the church will follow 2 p.m. services at the Hamp Funeral home, 37 Adam Street Tonawanda. Mr, Gombert died late Saturday at the DeGraff Memorial hospital, North Tonawanda, after suffering. a heart-attack.. A native of Niagara Falls, Mr. Gombert had been a farmer in the Town of Wheatfield for the last 40 years. He had been a long time member of the St John's church and was an active member of the Benevolent association at the church. For the last 15 years he had served as an assessor for the town and was a charter member of the Adam's Fire department, Nashville. Surviving are his wife, Albertine (Walck) Gombert; a son Norman Gombert, here; two daughters, Mrs. Albert Zastrow here , and Mrs. Irwin Maerten, North Tonawanda; brother, John Gombert,. Niagara Falls; two sisters, Miss Minnie Gombert and Mrs. Theodore Ziemendorf, Niagara' Falls; He, is also survived by 11 grandchildren. Burial will be' in St. John's cemetery, St. Johnsburg.
