Notes:

Richard "Dick" Eugene Costo, age 87 of the Town of Lewiston, NY, was called peacefully to his heavenly home at his residence. Born in Youngstown, NY on November 7, 1931; son of the late Joseph and Jean (Zralka) Costo. Dick enlisted into the U.S. Army and served a tour of duty in both Korea and Japan, from 1951-1954. He was awarded three Bronze Service Stars, among other medals. Dick married Norma Joanna Heuer on April 11, 1959, and was employed at Kimberly Clark in Niagara Falls until his retirement. He also helped out at Marsh's General Store, and was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Costo; three sons, David (Lori) Costo of Oswego, NY, Mark (Sherry) Costo of McDonough, GA, and Paul (Rebecca) Costo of Euless, TX; a brother, John (Lois) Costo of Youngstown, NY; sister, Mary Margaret Butera of Niagara Falls; grandchildren, Joshua (Kelsey Hughes) Costo, Nicholas (Jennifer Carillo) Costo, Megan Costo, Joseph Costo, and Jessica (Kevin) Reeves; great-grandson, Wyatt Reeves; and several nephews.
Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Saturday, March 16 from noon till 2 p.m., with a memorial service following at 2:00 p.m. Interment with military honors will follow in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1920 - 18th Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14305.
