Fred A. Wendt, 56, of 198 18th avenue, died early yesteiday afternoon in the DeGraff Memorial hospital. He was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda. Surviving are his wife, Anna, nee Kopec; a son, Lt. Chester Podd of the U. S. Navy, stationed at Norfolk, Va.; two brothers, William of North Tonawanda and Martin of Dalton, N. Y., and a sister, Mrs. Frank Sahr of North Tonawanda. Rites will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 from the Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam street. The Rev. Carl Frankenstein will officiate. The funeral of the late Mrs. Rose Wendt, wife of Ernest Wendt, of Martinsville, who was found dead in bed, will be held from the late home at Martinsville at 1:30 o'clock and at 2 o'clock from the St. Paul's church tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in the St. Paul cemetery.Children:
