    Mrs Haseley, 51 Former Leading Bowler, Dies
    Mrs. Blanche L Haseley, 51, of 1713 22nd St, formerly one of the city's leading women bowlers, died last night (Jan. 23, 1957) at Memorial Hospital after an illness of six months. Mrs Haseley was active in the Ladies of the Elks in this city and was employed in the office of the old Mathieson Alkali plant for 20 years until her retirement 14 years ago. She was a native of Ville Marie, Province of Quebec. Surviving are her husband, Herman G. Haseley; a sister, Phoebe Boyce, Timmins, Ont.; four brothers, Leo LeBlanc Timmins; Peter LeBlanc, Cochrane, Ont.; Paul LeBlanc; St. Petersburg,. Fla., and Leander LeBlanc,; Detroit Mich. Funeral services will be conduced at 9:15 am. at the Gridley Funeral Home followed by Mass of Requiem at 9:45 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

    Blanche married HASELEY, Herman Gerhardt on 24 Sep 1940 in Erie, Erie County, PA. Herman (son of HASELEY, Rudolph Hermann and MILLEVILLE, Anna Christine) was born on 17 May 1909 in Town of Cambria, Niagara County, NY; died on 28 Jul 1979 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY.     Erie. Pa . was the scene of a pretty
    autumn wedding on Tuesday. September
    24. when Miss Blanche Day.
    of Michigan avenue, this city, was
    united in marriage to Mr. Herman
    G. Haseley. of Whitney avenue, this
    city. Dr. G Gearhardt. pastor. officiating.
    The church wm attractively
    decorated with pink gladioli
    The bride was lovely in an afternoon
    ensemble of soldier blue with
    accessories of a matching shade
    She wore a corsage of white gard
    enias.
    Her matron of honor, Mrs Frank
    Haseley. of this city, was charming
    In a navy blue suit, with Dubonnet
    accessories. She wore a corsage
    of pink and white rases
    The bridegroom's mother wore an
    afternoon frock of navy blue crepe,
    with matching accessories. Her corsage
    was of pink lilies.
    Mr Frank Haseley. brother of the
    groom, was best man.
    The wedding dinner for the bridal
    party wan held at the Brookside
    Inn. Erie. Throughout the dinner.
    Strauss waltzes. favorites of the
    bride and bridegroom, furnished a
    beautiful musical background.
    Mr, and Mrs. Haseley left for a
    trip to New York and upon their
    return they will reside at 1872
    Michigan avenue.
    Prenuptlal affairs included a
    shower given by the Barsedea club
    of the Y W.C.A. and held at the
    home of Miss Joy Stube, of Eighty-first
    street. where the guest of
    honor was presented with a book-
    case; a shower given by employes
    of the Mathieson Alkali company
    at the Ray-Ott ctub: a shower giv-
    rn bv Mrs. Carl H Haseley at the
    Oak tea room, variety, English bone
    china: a tool shower picnic for the
    bridegroom. given bv Mr Carl H
    Haseley. was held at the home of
    Mr and Mrs Rudolph Haseley, in
    the Million Dollar highway.
