YOUNGSTOWN, N. Y., June 19-
Herman F. Dall, 70, well known resi-
dent of this village, died at 10-o'clock
last night at the family home in
Chestnut street. Death was due to a
heart condition.
Mr. Dall was born at Bergholtz,
N.Y., April 12, 1875 and moved to
the Youngstown area 30 years ago.
He had been a successful farmer and
was engaged in his work until a
few months ago. He was a member
of the Evangelical Lutheran church
and in former years was active in
its organizations.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs.
Sophie Dall, at home; one sister,
Mrs. August Kroening, of North
Tonawanda; three children, Mrs.
Victor Cook, of Winterpark, Florida,
and Wesley and Theodore Dall, of
this village, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at
the family home in this village.
Interment will be in Oakland Rural
cemetery.

Herman married SAHR, Sophia Emilie about 1899. Sophia (daughter of SAHR, August Friedrich and KRUSE, Bertha Sophia) was born on 30 Nov 1877 in Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY; died on 22 Jun 1967 in Ransomville, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Mr. William Dall

Mr. William Dall, aged 77 years, died Saturday at his home in Bergholtz. He
is survived by a wife, two sons, William and Herman Dall; three daughters,
Mrs. Charles Mittlestaedt, Mrs. Albert Broeker and Mrs. Gust Kroening; three
brothers, Mr. Fred Dall of Germany, Mr. John Dall of Canada and Mr. Fred
Eggert of Bergholtz; one sister, Mrs. John Stolzenburg of Reed City, Mich.

The funeral will take place Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the house
and at 2:30 o'clock from the Lutheran Church, the Reverend Mr. Sparck
officiating. Interment will be made in Bergholtz cemetery.
