Haseley, of Michigan avenue, when their daughter, Elenor Mildred, became the bride of Mr. Norman Yarrington. son of Mr. Edward Yarrington, of Medina. The Rev. A. J. Prange. of Calvary Lutheran church, performed the ceremony before a bank of plams. tall baskets of gladiolls and garden flowers. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a floorlength gown of white moussellne de sole in chenille floral design, fashioned with a sweetheart neckline and puffed sleeves. With It she wore long lace mitts. Her finger tip veil of Illusion fell from a tiara of orange blossoms. She carried a bridal bouquet of pink and white roses with touches of blue tlori with white tulle. Mrs. Leo Grassman, of Lcckport, aunt of the bridegroom and the bride's only attendant, wore pale blue marquisette with a tiara of pink rosebuds. She carried pink and white roses tied with pink tulle. Mr. Leo Grossman, the bridegroom's uncle, was best man. The Dornfeldt sisters, of Martinsville, provided music for the ceremony. After the wedding a dinner was served for the Immediate families at Belmer's Plantation. Later a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents for more than 75 guests. The buffet table was laid with a lace cloth with a tiered wedding cake centering the table. Tall white tapers were at either end. After the reception Mr. and Mrs. Yarrington left on a motor trip to Washington, D. C, Baltimore. Md., New York City and Philadelphia, Pa. Katherine Lorraine, became the bride of Mr. Charles Albert Beyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Beyer, of Newfane. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. P. L Harburn, pastor of the Pekin Methodist church, before a large bay window, banked with ferns, under an arch of white satin ribbon. A large white wedding bell hung from the middle of the arch and large baskets of gladioli were at either end of the arch. Mrs. William Southwood, Jr.. of Snyder, cousin, of the bride, accompanying herself, sang. "I Love You Truly.'* and Because, preceding the ceremony. She also played Lohengrin's "wedding march when the bridal party entered the living room. The bride, who was given In marriage by her brother, Howard Meyer, was lovely in a gown of white starched chiffon with panels of lace, shirred bodice, sweetheart neckline and short puffed sleeves. Her finger tip veil of illusion net fell from a cluster of orange blossoms. She wore a heart shaped locket, the gift of the groom and carried a shower bouquet of white roses, white sweet peas and fern tired with a white satin bow. Mrs. John Folmar, as matron of honor, wore a gown of blue starch- ed chiffon made exactly like the brides. She wore a tiara of yellow daisies in her hair and carried a bouquet of yellow roses, blue del- phinium, gypsophelia and fern tied with a blue satin bow. The groom chose John Folmar to be his best man. The bride's mother. Mrs. Edward J. Mayer, wore a'dress of white silk Jersey with blue polka dots and white accessories. She wore a corsage of pink roses. Mrs. Walter Beyer, mother of the groom, chose a dress of white shadow chiffon with white accessories. Her corsage was of pink roses also. The bride's grandmother. Mrs. Jennie H. Eddy was dressed in navy blue and wore a corsage of pink roses and blue delphinium. Mrs. William Southwood. Jr., wore a dress of rose crepe, white acces sories and corsage of pink roses. The bride's gift to her matron of honor, was a compact and the groom gave a leather bill fold to the best man. A reception for about 40 guests was held after the ceremony. The bride's table with covers laid for sixteen was centered with a large four-tier wedding cake, topped with a miniature bride and groom and flanked by white candles in crystal holders. Pink and white favors, with place cards, marked each place. The happy couple left, amid a shower of confetti, for a short honeymoon to Canada and the Thousand Islands. The bride trav- eled in a dress of dusty rose alpaca with white accessories. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Beyer will be at home to their many friends at the home of the bride's parents, Town Line road. Pre-nuptial parties for the popu- lar bride included: variety shower, given by Mrs. Howard Mayer and Mrs. Wilfred Mayer at the home of the former; variety shower by Mrs. John Folmar; variety shower by Mrs. Walter Beyer. The office girls of the U. S. L. Battery corporation, where the bride was formerly employed, entertained at a variety shower at the home of Miss Martha Neubauer at Niagara Falls. Mrs. Orin Draper entertain- ed the Young Peoples Sunday school class, of the Pekin Methodist church in honor of the bride and groom and they were presented with a lovely mirror. He was employed by the City of Niagara Falls for 10^ years, retiring in February of 1956. Prior to that he worked for the Vanadium Corporation of American for 15 years. She returned to this city and was employed as a secretary at the Acheson Graphite Co. In 1914 she was married to Frederick W. Gray of this city. She was superintendent of the Beginners Department of the Sunday S c h o o l of First Presbyterian Church for 30 years and each year directed a religious pageant on Children's Day. Charles Wynn, 69, of 454 Seventh St., and his grandson, William G. Bishara, 14, of 456 Seventh St., drowned during a fishing trip Sunday on the wind-swept waters of Canandaigua Lake, about 15 miles northwest of here. Ray J. Bishara, 16, William's brother, and John B. Cox, 17, of 624 Sixth St., both of Niagara Falls, have been released from F. F. Thompson Hospital, Canandaigua, where they were treated for exposure. William was a 10th grade student at South Junior High School. He was a member of the LaSalle J u n i o r Sports mans Club. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bishara, at home; a grandmother, Mrs. Charles Wynn and three b r o t h e r s , Jay Charles, Robert Richard and Ray. Mr. Wynn lived here for 25 years. He was a guard at the Great Lakes Carbon Co. plant here for the last 15 years. He was a member of the LaSalle Sportman's Club. Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Nelson Miller of Scranton, Pa., and Mrs. Robert Bishara, of this city; a son, Francis, of this city; a sister, Mrs. Anna Walsh, of Scranton. Pa., and 16 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren. The party had been fishing from about 7:30 a.m. and were moving to a new location at 10 a.m. when the outboard motor, failed, and the boat drifted into the wind. Ray Bishara h e l p e d his brother William to the surface twice before the boy slipped from his grasp. Robert E. Kesel, 45, of Rochester, was at his cottage on the eastern shore of the lake when he heard cries for help. Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin aremembers of the Niagara United Presbyterian Church and took part in a rededication of their marriage, vows in unison with other couples at a recent church service.
