Devoted mother of Ronni (Dale Milward) Littleton, Judy Jacobi, Eric (Kelly) Steinbrenner, Terri (Kevin) Ryan, Chris (Sue Blasko) Steinbrenner and Scott (Ashlee) Steinbrenner. Adored by 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren with three more great-grandchildren on the way. Loving daughter of the late Eugene and Anna Satterley. Dear sister of Beverly (Hugh) Minor and the late Marilyn Buckley. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and other dear relatives and friends. No prior visitation. NIAGARA FALLS - Mary Rose Steinbrenner, 101, a 97-year resident of Pierce Avenue and a resident of the Lockport Presbyterian Home since 1997, died Saturday (Dec. 8, 2001) in Lockport Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

A Niagara falls native, Miss Steinbrenner attended German church school, then enrolled in public schools, and was one of two students enrolled in the last Greek-language class at Niagara Falls High School.

She was a clerk for the Carborundum County, working in production planning and inventory control during her years with the Coated Abrasives Division, where she was respected for her cost-control skills.

In May 1962, she was honored with the annual Tony Clark Award, given to her by William H. Wendel, company president, for outstanding dedication and service for best exemplifying the spirit of Carborundum.

She retired in 1967 after 50 years of service.

In retirement, she gardened and enjoyed household chores, painting lawn furniture and shoveling snow into her 90s.

She enjoyed reading and discussing current events and debating politics.

Services will be held at noon Monday in the Chapel at Oakwood Cemetery, 763 Portage Road, Niagara Falls.

30554 Stella (Tracinski) Bartos, 97 years old, passed away on November 10, 2016 at Northgate Manor. She was born in Niagara Falls on November 10, 1919, the daughter of the late Casimer and Agnes (Barscz) Tracinski. She attended Holy Trinity Parochial School and was a graduate of Trott Vocational High School. Stella and her late husband, owned and operated Bartos' Esso Gas Station on Third Street for over 50 years where she was the bookkeeper. She also worked for the Board of Elections as a custodian who set up voting machines at polling places throughout the City of Niagara Falls. For many years she volunteered at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. She was a member of the former Holy Trinity Church and a current member of Divine Mercy Parish. Stella enjoyed crafting, sewing, attending Niagara University Basketball games and watching the New York Yankees, but her greatest enjoyment in life was caring for her family. Stella is survived by her children, Mary Ann (Theodore) Casamento of the Town of Niagara, Henrietta (Jack) Ingham of Niagara Falls and Kenneth (Linda) Bartos of Lewiston; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, M. Joseph Bartos; her brother, John Tracinski; and her sister, Genevieve Pils. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-5 PM at the LABUDA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 356 Portage Road, where funeral services will begin at 9:00 AM on Monday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM at Divine Mercy Parish, corner of Niagara and 24th Streets with Rev. 30555 Stella Leffler, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away May 27, 2017 at Northgate Health Care Facility in North Tonawanda, New York.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (Tedesco) Paradise.

Stella attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.  She married Ralph J. Leffler, Sr. who predeceased her on April 17, 1992.  Stella worked for over 20 years in the Audio Visual Department at the Earl W. Brydges Library in Niagara Falls, retiring in 2013.  She also worked with the Niagara Falls Board of Elections.  Stella was a longstanding member of St. Mary’s of the Cataract Church.  She enjoyed crocheting, baking, candy making, ceramics, and was an avid reader.
Stella is survived by her children, Diane (Terry) Ward, Ralph (Gretchen) Leffler, Denise (Dennis) Snuszka, Richard Leffler, James (Michelle) Leffler; seven grandchildren, Richard (Keli) York, Ronald (Terri) York, Ryan (Michelle) Leffler, Eric (Julie) Leffler, Nicholas Leffler, and Steven Leffler; eight great-grandchildren, Atticus and Alex York, Anna and Adam Leffler, Alexandria, Micah, Nicholas, and Sophia Leffler; one brother, Joseph (Eileen) Paradise, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her husband, Mrs. Leffler was predeceased by one grandson, Ryan Leffler, and 4 siblings, Julia (late Ernest), John (late Elsie) Paradise, Covey, Marie (late Frank) Borgese, and Gloria Wittkopp.

30556 Stella M. (Bruno) Maietta, 83 of Youngstown, NY passed away on Sunday April 15, 2018 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence.  Born June 2, 1934 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late, Vincenzo ‘James’ and Palma (DiPaolo) Bruno.
Stella was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area and attended local schools. On October 8, 1955, she married Joseph F. Maietta, Sr. in Niagara Falls.  Mr. Maietta predeceased her on December 6, 1980.  Stella worked in the Student Center at Niagara University until her retirement.  She was a long time and active member of ISDA Cataract Lodge #240 in Niagara Falls, and was instrumental in organizing activities for the lodge as well as trips for their travel club.  Stella was also a member of the Cristoforo Colombo Society and especially enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. 
Mrs. Maietta is survived by her two children, Joseph F. (fiancé Michelle Braun) Maietta, and Lora (Russell) Daniels, her three grandchildren who she adored, Russell Daniels, Christopher Daniels and Alexis (fiancé Matt DiFrancesco) Maietta, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren. She was also predeceased by two sisters, Angeline (late Sam) Marinello, Ann (late Louis) Badialli and one brother, Anthony Bruno.

SANBORN - Dolores C. Stenzel, a health worker and owner of Stenzel Motel in Niagara Falls, died Monday while under the care of Niagara Hospice. She was 74.
Born Dolores Miller in Ambler, Pa., she moved to Niagara Falls as a child in 1934 and attended local schools.
Her husband, Gordon H., died in 1985, and she moved to Sanborn in 1991.
Mrs. Stenzel was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She also was a member of the Sanborn Seniors, the Butterfly Red Hat Society and the Cataract Campers.
She volunteered at the Lutheran Association for Developmentally Deprived.
Mrs. Stenzel worked for 16 years at the Health Association of Niagara County. She was employed by the Change Exchange in Niagara Falls until she became ill.
Surviving are two sons, Greg and Neil, and four brothers, Clayton Miller and Donald, Dale and David DeMaison.
Services will be at 11 A.M. Thursday in Grace Lutheran Church, 736 Cayuga Drive, Niagara Falls.

Stevie was a former member of Holy Trinity RC Church and now a member of All Saints RC Church. She was a Niagara County Supreme Court Clerk for twenty seven and a half years, the Shop Stewart at CSEA and the Niagara Co-Op. She loved to farm and gardening. 30565 Stephen Alongi, 87, of the Town of Niagara, passed away on Friday, May 8th at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Rochester, NY he was the son of the late Anthony and Phyllis (Cavallaro) Alongi.

Stephen came to Niagara Falls as an infant with his family, attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1945. After graduating from high school he worked in his family’s garage, Alongi Motor Company located at 26th Street and Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls until entering the military service in 1950. Stephen served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War as a Parachute Rigger 3rd Class from September 11, 1950 until his honorable discharge on August 23, 1954. In October 1955 he began working for the Niagara Falls Fire Department and retired as a Captain in 1976 after twenty years of service. Following his retirement from the Fire Department he returned to the family garage until retiring in 1995 to enjoy his family.

Stephen is survived by his wife Carol V. (Duthe) Rudolph-Alongi, one son Anthony S. (Sarah) Alongi of Seattle, WA and was predeceased by one son Stephen A. Alongi. He is also survived by four step children Crista Baker, Angela (Mark) Mercer both of Niagara Falls, NY, Jannelle (William) Rossey, David (Jennifer) DePonceau and several other step children, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; one brother Vito V. (Adeline) Alongi of Lewiston, NY; two sisters Carmeline (late Tommy) Tedesco of California and Phyllis (late Victor) Conti of Phoenix, AZ and many nieces and nephews.

Olmstedville; Stephen D. Cuzzacrea, 78 passed away Monday Nov. 20 ,2017, he went peacefully into the arms of our savior.
Steve was born June 3, 1939 in Lockport, NY the son of the late Dominic and Mary Surage Cuzzacrea.
Through the years Steve enjoyed fishing; turkey, deer and rabbit hunting with his many friends, and bird hunting with his wife and their 3 faithful spinone dogs was his passion. Steve devoted much of his time teaching kids the importance of gun safety and the shooting skills. Wesley and Daniel were two of his favorites. Steve was an avid Cleveland Browns fan since childhood.
Steve and his wife hosted many trap shoot fund raisers for people in need and also St. Jude’s Children’s hospital, which will be carried on in memory of Steve.
He will be missed by his wife of 41 years Patricia, his children Stephen W. Cuzzacrea, Sheri (Frank) Conjerti, Dominic Michael (Julie) Cuzzacrea, Christine (Milhollen) Bruno, (Anthony) and Tracy Milhollen, his eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren who he enjoyed spending time with. He liked fishing with them and teaching them to shoot shotguns and skeet.
He is also survived by his sister Josephine (John) Paananen, his brother-in-law James (Terri) Fink and several nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.
Friends may call Friday Dec. 8, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home 1019 US Rt. 9, Schroon Lake, NY.

He was born in Niagara Falls on May 17, 1939, the son of the late Henry and Mary (Monko) Nowak. 
Steve attended local schools and worked at Occidental Petroleum for 36 years retiring in 2000. He enjoyed fishing, especially his trips up North; playing cards; OTB and his weekends at Turkey Point, but his greatest love in life was his family and spending time with his grandchildren. 
Steve is survived by his wife of 54 years, Donna (Lasky) Nowak; his children, Stephen (Carla) Nowak, Jr., Brenda (Frank Pati) Chatt, Jennifer Nowak Hallett and Allison (Ronald II) Appoloney; his grandchildren, Michael (Christine) Chatt, Lauren, Tori and Ronald III Appoloney, Morgan and Nate Nowak and Emma and Evan Hallett. He is survived by his brother, Leonard (Karen) Nowak; and his sisters, Pauline Pucak and Mary Margaret 'Margie' (John) Urban; and many nieces and nephews. Stephen graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School, Sanborn, NY, Brockport State University, NY, and Niagara University, Niagara Falls, NY.
A Vietnam veteran, Stephen served as a psychiatric specialist 1972 to 1973. Medals received: National Defense Service, Vietnam Service Medal with Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Overseas Service Bar and Sharpshooter Badge.
An avid bowler, he played in three different leagues, tournaments, and the ABC. He coached a high school team and served as President (one-year) of the Niagara Falls Men's Association.
Steve worked as VP Consumer Loans at Permanent Savings Bank, Niagara Falls. He taught in the Niagara Falls School District which led he, and his wife, Blanche (Morgan, predeceased) of 32 years to move to Las Vegas, NV. Here teaching high school history for 26 years at Clark County School District and being a five-time nominee to Who's Who of America's Teachers!
Stephen is survived by sister, Judith (James) Mitravich, Palm Bay, FL; children, Traci (Brett) Young, Port Charlotte FL, Anne (Russell) Amsdill-Ferrante and Ernest Amsdill, Las Vegas, NV, Harold and George Amsdill, Niagara Falls, NY; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Stephen and Blanche will be laid to rest at Palm Mortuary to spend eternity together.

Stephen attended Holy Ghost Lutheran School, and was a 1968 graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School. He went on and graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a Master's degree. Stephen served in the Air Force from 1972-1994 as a pilot, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He then worked for Southwest Airlines, as a pilot for 20 years. Stephen enjoyed bicycling and woodworking.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Mary "Liz" Camann; children, Jane, Rachel, and Paul Camann; siblings, David (Lin) Camann, Ruth (Earl) Voelker, Mike (Debbie) Camann, Tim (Christine) Camann, Mary (Les) Fuerch, Lois (Rick) Wiseman, and Debbie (Robin) Feick; and many nieces and nephews.

30571 Stephen Swidergal, 62, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully at home on Monday February 6, 2017. He was the son of the late Michael and Dolores (Koban) Swidergal. He was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and entered the United States Air Force in 1976, where he served as a Master Sergeant for 20 years in the 914th Aerial Port Squadron out of Niagara Falls.

In addition to being retired from the Air Force, Steve also retired from Nabisco after 28 years of service as a shredder operator. Steve was a member of Moose Lodge #180 on Grand Island and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. In his spare time Steve enjoyed playing cards with his buddies, going to the casino, hanging out with his dog, visiting wineries, and vacationing in Myrtle Beach.

He is survived by his daughters Jennifer (Michael) Wesolowski and Amanda Swidergal, loving companion, Mary Cantlon, niece, Kelly (Christian) Pollitt, and grandchildren, Zachary Wesolowski and Brianna Wesolowski.

30573 Sterling Rank, affectionately known as Paca by his family; a nickname given to him by his granddaughters Sarah and Aimee Rank died peacefully at home Friday November 24. His son Randall and both grandaughters had been caring for him along with local hospice assistance at the end.
Sterling was the youngest of four children born to Everett and Evelyn Rank in Fresno. He graduated from Fresno State, married Clayre Roth and together they raised three children, Pam, Randy and Rick. Sterling retired from Merced City School District where he worked as a guidance counselor and teacher at Yosemite High School.
Sterling had a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors and was always up for an adventure. Yosemite was a favorite. But his travels included several trips across the U.S. and several months spent in Europe with Clayre. Friends and family hold fond memories of time spent hiking, playing or enjoying a meal. He will be missed.

He was born to Francisco and Vicenta Gallo on December 1, 1947 in Cenadi,Italy, and moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina at the age of four. After growing up and working with his family throughout his teenage years, he immigrated to the United States in 1974, and married Barbara Schlum in 1978. Steven worked as an engineer at both Amherst Tool & Automation, as well as Intricut, in Amherst, NY for over 30 years.Steven loved to work on automobiles and motorcycles. His most recent projects included his Ford Mustang and Yamaha V-Star Touring motorcycle. He enjoyed traveling with his family, and in his later years, with his wife throughout the United States. Steven was an avid technology hobbyist, and constantly tinkered with all types of computers and electronics.Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara; sons, Jason (Jennifer) Gallo and Christopher (Megan) Gallo; five grandchildren, Christian, Isabella, Ethan, Emma and Ella; and countless family members in Argentina and throughout the world.A memorial service will be held in early 2021, with a date and time to be announced, for family and friends. Beahen, Sr, 61, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017 in Select Speciality Hospital in Erie, PA, following a brief illness.  Born on October 25, 1955 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Philip and Marian (Smith) “Smitty” Beahen.  On September 11, 1976, Steven married the former Lynn Hiddie in Lewiston, NY.
Steven was a lifelong area resident, attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1973.  He then went on to earn his Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Niagara County Community College as well as a certificate in building, estimating and constructing from Erie Community College, North Campus.  Steven began his lifelong construction career working with his father at Smith Brothers Construction.  He then was employed by Laur and Mack Construction and Tri-C Construction.  Most recently, Steven was currently employed as a General Superintendent  for Pinto Construction Services.  He served as Past-President of the Laborers’ Local #91.  Steven’s job was his passion and he was highly respected by his co-workers.
Steven was a member of Community of Christ Church on Lewiston Road and the 3F Club.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer.  Steven enjoyed cooking and was an excellent grill chef, horse racing, skeet shooting and spending time at his cabin in the southern tier, Leisurewood campgrounds, Saratoga Race Course and Sarasota, Fl.  Above all, family was everything to Steven and his grandchildren will forever miss their “Papa.”
In addition to his beloved wife of over forty years, Steven is survived by three children, Brandi (Dean) Krassopoulos, Steven (Christine) Beahen, Jr. and Katie (Jacob) Rizzone; five grandchildren, Kaliope and Matthew Krassopoulos, Ellie and Benjamin Rizzone and Natalie Beahen and seven siblings, Philip J. Beahen, Diane Haick, Sherry (Vince) Girardo, Scott Beahen, David (Robin) Beahen, Penny (John) Hepfer and Krisanne (Michael) Ventry.  He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, Richard and Shirley Hiddie; brother-in-law, Douglas (Carol) Hiddie; sister-in-law, Jackie (Steven) Yousett and several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by one sister, Tracey Ann Beahen and one brother, Kenny Beahen.

Steven was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. He was the owner and operator of a local painting and landscaping. Steve was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills. He also enjoyed hunting and was a fabulous cook. Steve will especially be remembered for his great sense of humor and contagious laugh that was loved and appreciated by everyone who knew him.

Steven is survived by his wife of twenty-four years, Margaret R. (Sansone) Jamgochian, two sons Steven P. Jamgochian and Dominic M. Jamgochian; one sister Debbie (John R.) Signorelli; his dog Bella and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was 59.  He was born in Niagara Falls on April 2, 1959, a son of the late Albert and Marilyn (Smith) Batterson.  He attended local schools and then received his degree in drafting from SUNY at Delhi.  Steve began his career as a draftsman at Cannon Design in 1980 and worked his way to the position of Senior Associate and finally to the position of Associate Vice President.  Steve retired from Cannon in December, 2016 after being diagnosed with cancer.
Steve enjoyed building model World War II airplanes and loved reading books about airplanes.
He is survived by his loving wife Margaret, two sons: Kevin and Michael Batterson of Niagara Falls, his sister Suzanne (late Michael) Quincy of Niagara Falls, his brother David Batterson and his nephew Alexander Quincy of Buffalo. He was predeceased by his brother Mark Batterson.
There will be no visitation. think records are not part of the Mormon records and the German man went
to the place in Bavaria where such records are kept.

Mrs. Paul Adolf Richert died at her farm home, Rural Route No. 7 near Stillwater Junction, Sunday night, November 10, 1929.The daughter of Mr. and Mrs Christian Beutel, Marie Magdeline Beutel. was born in Martinsville, New York on September 14, 1860. She came to the state 56 years ago and was married to Mr. Richert in Valley Creek. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary December 4, 1928.
Surviving are the husband, eight children; Mrs. Ernest Wendt[Mathilda], Mrs George Hauck,[Teckla] Mrs. Alfred Christiansen[Alma], Mrs. Ortwin Lohman[Pauline], Mrs Eugene Haseley,[Agnes] ,Hugo, Oscar and Clarence Richert. 20 grandchildren, three sisters; Mrs. William Best of Afton, Mrs. August Meyer of Minneapolis and Mrs. August Scheel of Lake Elmo and a brother Paul Beutel of Minneapolis, also survive. Mathilda was a longtime member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz, where she was a member of the Altar Guild, Quilters, member of the Lutheran Woman's Missionary League and the Wheatfield Senior Citizens. Mathilda enjoyed baking, playing cards and picking strawberries.Survivors include four children, Duane A. Stoelting of Wheatfield, Helen M. Haseley of Walmore, Margaret E. In 1972 he was appointed vice president and comptroller of the corporation. An Army Air Force veteran of World War II, he was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Tonawandas Post 264. American Legion and the Exchange Club of the Tonawandas. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy L. (nee Pfeifer) Stolzenburg; two daughters. Died in a US Naval Reserve Plane crash in Lake George, Volusia County, FL while on a training exercise. Was probably practicing bombing in the National Forest Bombing Range outside of Ocala. Newspaper articles in the Leesburg paper indicate there were a crew of 11. Two survivors were taken to the hospital in Palatka. All were not recovered immediately but within the next week all were accounted for. The unit was flying from Jacksonville Naval Air Station but were originally stationed in Willow Grove, PA.

30594 STOREY - Thompson Edward Age 62, of Old Hickory, TN, died January 10, 2018. Thom was the chair of the Media Studies Department at Belmont University. Over his 32 years of teaching, he has been awarded the Chaney Distinguished Professor Award and educator of the year by the Southeastern Journalism Conference. He also served on the board of the local chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. Thom loved rollercoasters and was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Ellman Storey, and his son, Joseph Storey. He is survived by his wife, Caroline Lovell Storey; his father, William Storey; daughter Madison Storey; brother Peter (Barb) Storey; step-children Thomas, Allison (Johannes) and Caroline (Stuart); grandchildren Layne and Blake; nephew Christopher; and niece Rachel. Memorial Services will be conducted 4:30 PM Monday, January 15, 2018 at Cooks United Methodist Church, 7919 Lebanon Rd., Mt. Juliet with Pastor Sandra Clay officiating. 30595 STOREY - William M. Age 91, of North Tonawanda, NY, died Friday, July 12, 2019. Beloved husband of 60 years of the late Helen (nee Ellman) Storey, father of Peter (Barbara) Storey and the late Thompson Storey, father-in-law of Caroline (late Thompson) Storey, grandfather of Dr. Christopher (Dr. Kristyn) Storey, Rachel (John McCarthy) Storey, and Madison Storey; son of the late Thompson and Lucy (nee Klettke) Storey; brother of the late Iris Schoelles; also survived by several nieces and nephews. William was a 1945 graduate of North Tonawanda High School, and was also a US Navy Veteran. He had been employed as General Manager for C.A. Hackett in the Town of Tonawanda for 30 years. He served as Past President of the Lions Club of the Tonawandas, was a 20 gallon blood donor, and was a member of the DeGraff Memorial Hospital Board of Directors. William was also an active member and Elder of St. Mark Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda, spending much of his time visiting shut-ins. He was an avid bowler and golfer. There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Service on Saturday, August, 17, at St. Mark Lutheran Church 1135 Oliver St. in North Tonawanda. NIAGARA FALLS - Earl M. Strasburg, a retired traffic controller for Occidental Chemical Corp., died Sunday in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness. He was 77. He was born in Niagara Falls and attended local schools. Mr. Strasburg was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. He was a former member of the LaSalle Yacht Club. His wife, Jane Kilmer Strasburg, died in 2002. Surviving are a daughter, LuAnn Via of Chicago, and a sister, Gladys Beningo of Spring Hill, Fla. A memorial service will be held at 9:30 A.M. Saturday in the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton.
