She and her husband Joined Centenary Church. Mr. and Mrs. Farrington were active members of the same society, and the former has been a trustee for several years. After her husband's death. Mrs. Witmer maintained her residence here al- though she spent most of .her time with her parents, She had for several months had a room at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George W. H u l l . in West Onondaga street. More than a year ago Mrs.Harrington died and Mrs. Witmer. who had been a warm friend, assisted the bereaved husband in many ways. The loss of a husband by one and of a wife by the other. established a bond of sympathy between them and early this year they became engaged. Mr Farrington is general manager of Farrington brothers Flour and Feed Company and of the Everybody's grocery stores. She had great faith in God and always told everyone about Jesus and what he had done forher. A celebration of life was held on June 5, 2010 in Tacoma. Bob loved life and lived it to the fullest and will be fondly remembered by his family, business associates and his many friends. During World War II, he became a member of the 5th Ranger Battalion. During his distinguished military service he was awarded the Bronze Star. Upon discharge, he enlisted in the Washington State Army National Guard. He co-founded Television Service Center in 1952. Bob owned and managed this company along with his wife for 47 years, until his retirement in 1999. He was a member of Immanuel Celebration Church for 57 years during which he served as a Sunday school teacher, choir director, church moderator, day care board member, and Deacon. She enjoyed to cook and bake, and made hundreds of wedding cakes from the 1970’s to the early 1990’s for local weddings. Terry leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years, Jill M. (Phillips) Fritz; two children, Tracy (Dale) Selbert and Jeffrey Fritz; grandchildren, Chad Selbert, Amanda (Nick) Gonnella, and Rachael Fritz; a brother, Ronald Fritz; brother-in-law, Robert (Karen) Phillips; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.After high school, Terry served honorably on active duty in the United States Navy, on the USS Yorktown, from 1958-1962. He held various jobs afterwards, including ownership of a service station, tractor trailer driver, Ken-ton adult education instructor, teaching basic auto mechanics, and then joined the 107th. New York Air National Guard in Niagara Falls, working full time as a mechanic and retired as a Master Sergeant. After his retirement, Terry remained busy and worked part time driving dump truck, shuttle vans, school and tour buses. He enjoyed hunting, motorcycling, RVing, bean bag baseball and traveling the United States with Jill by his side, seeing all 50 states. Terry volunteered for Twin Cities Meals on Wheels, and was a Salvation Army bell ringer. He belonged to the USS Yorktown Association, the RATS/RAGS, the Pendleton Veterans Association, the NT High School Reunion Committee, and the American Legion Post No. 2 in Wauchula, FL. Terry loved his family, friends, and living life to the fullest. He will be in our hearts and memories always.Private services were held in the DuBois Funeral Home, Wheatfield, with the family. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Patricia Flagler and her two sons, William and Brian Maines. Judy is survived by her husband of 65 years Floyd L. Maines; her daughter Rebecca (David) Weinheimer; her son Christopher (Claire) Maines, and daughter Pamela (Stuart) Bochniarz. Judy was a wonderful grandmother to five grandchildren, Tina Weinheimer, Mary (Ian) Kesterson, William (Cambridge) Bisher, Douglas (Kelly) Bisher and Kyle Maines. Judith had eight great-grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren, eight step great-grandchildren and two step great-great-grandchildren.
