31952 We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Charles “Chuck” Henry Argy, Jr. on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 in Wimauma, Florida with his family by his side. His battle with B-Cell Lymphoma this year showed his courage in facing life challenges with a positive attitude. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.
Chuck was born January 6, 1940, in Niagara Falls, NY. He graduated from Bishop Duffy High School, Niagara Falls, in 1957 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Detroit in 1962. One of his most enjoyable assignments was living in Santiago, Chile overseeing the building of their mobile networks. Chuck retired in 2001 and remained in Lawrenceville, GA until moving to Wimauma, FL in 2016.
In his younger years he enjoyed bowling, camping, and supporting the various Atlanta hockey teams. After retirement he loved attending his grandson’s sporting events and traveling throughout the United States, South America, Europe, and the Mediterranean. One of his favorite things was relaxing at the beach and we have many fond memories of him at our annual beach trip with family and friends.
Chuck was preceded in death by his son Robert Charles Argy; his brother Alan Thomas Argy; his parents Charles Henry Argy, Sr. and Helen Stivers Argy. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Rebecca Phillips Argy; son Michael Argy (Saul Reyes) of Dallas, TX; daughter Renee Argy Sullivan (Shawn) of Sandy Springs, GA; Grandchildren Patrick, Ryan, and Liam Sullivan; many loving brothers and sisters in-laws; numerous nieces and nephews.

31996 Well, Thomas Smith McCrorie born in 1880 looks like he married someone
called Sarah Cairns on 29th April 1904 in Ayr, which fits with being
my great grandfather as my Grandmother was born in 1907 and she was
the eldest and I know they came from Ayr. I am waiting for more
information from Burns Howff Club as I know my great grandfather was
the president there in 1933 - 1934 but have no other leads. The
information is definitely refering to the Thomas McCrorie in your
line, I just need to check it's mine too. My grandmother was called
Martha McCrorie born in 1907 so the name certainly makes sense when
you look at the line of research you have done already. Any help you
can give me on the others would be most welcome.

Where do you fit in this jigsaw?

I found all of this on http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk so it might
be worth looking at this is you are interested in doing further
research. I can send you links to the people I have found if that
would be helpful.
