Theresa M. Rozyczko, age 89, entered into rest on Friday, August 29, 2003, unexpectedly at Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital. Born September 1, 1913 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Hoffman) Birmingham. Theresa attended St. Mary's grammar school and graduated from St. Mary's High School. She then worked at NY Central as a switchboard operator. Theresa married the late Edward Rozyczko in 1947. She then began her career with Niagara County as a telephone operator, for the last 15 years before her retirement in 1972. Theresa was working as a switchboard operator. Mrs. Rozyczko was a member of St. Mary of the Cataract Church and enjoyed ceramics.
Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Rozyczko, who passed away on August 1, 2002; a son, Patrick E. Rozyczko; brothers, Joseph, Francis, William, Edward and John Birmingham. She is survived by her son, Michael C. (Linda) Rozyczko; and a grandson, Michael Karl Rozyczko, a1l of Niagara Falls; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Otto Redanz Funeral Home, 2215 Military Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary, 339 22nd Street, Niagara Falls with Rev. Michael Burzynski officiating. 31052 Theresa S. "Babe" Palumbo, 95, of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on April 5, 2020. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late P. James and Anna (Caterina) Sabella.
Theresa graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1943, and from Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA, in 1948 with a Bachelor's Degree in Science. She also did postgraduate work at Niagara University. On September 8, 1948, she married Paul L. Palumbo at St. Joseph's Church in Niagara Falls. Mr. Palumbo predeceased her on January 12, 2006.
Theresa was employed with the Niagara Falls Board of Education, teaching Home Economics at South Junior and Gaskill until her retirement in 1990. She was a member of the College Club of Niagara Falls and the Mercyhurst Alumni Association.
Theresa enjoyed needlework, crocheting and knitting. In addition, she enjoyed working in her garden, traveling, cooking and reading.
Theresa is survived by her children, Paula Birmingham, Janet (Rob) Schuster, and Martin (Carol) Palumbo; her grandchildren, James (Karen) Birmingham, Drew (Renee Stack) Birmingham, Meghan (David) Camaratta, Johanna (Cory) Reighard, Laura (Joey) Fore, Justin (Sarah) Palumbo and Alex (Jolanne) Palumbo; great-grandchildren, Brenna, Logan (and his mother Aimee), Connor, Brett, Luke, Leah, Robbie, Ireland, and Dominic; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Luke (late Kathryn) Sabella, Marie (late Julius) Grandinetti, Vincent (late June) Sabella, and Anthony (late Julia) Sabella.
Due to recent circumstances, funeral services with entombment to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery were held for the family. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

31054 Theresa V.(Kulak) Rydzewski, 89, of Floral City, FL passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on May 15, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Helen (Nowicke) Kulak.
She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Robert Rydzewski; children, Claudia (James) Gorzka, Joseph (Susan) Rydzewski, Timothy Rydzewski, Roberta (Brian) Stalteri and Theresa (Mark) Revitzer; twenty-six grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and her brother, Stanley Kulak Jr. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son, Michael(Carol) Rydzewski USMC and sister Cecilia.

TONAWANDA — Paul L. Thiele, age 66, of the Town of Wheatfield, March 28, 2010, in Millard Fillmore Hospital, Buffalo. Mr. Thiele was a 1961 graduate of North Tonawanda High School and a 1965 graduate of Capital University. He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. He was the President of Thiele Inc. and was a member and Regional Vice-President of ESPA, and was a member of other trade organizations. He was an active member of St. Martin Lutheran Church, having served as Choir Director, Treasurer, President, Trustee, Sunday School teacher and Youth Group Director; he had served as the Treasurer of the Regional Youth Group Gathering. He was a Board member of the Tonawanda and Buffalo Chapters of the American Red Cross and First President of NY Penn Regional Blood Services.

Beloved husband of Julien (nee Rettig) Thiele; father of Jennifer (Jim) Wanamaker of Wheatfield and Jeffrey (Michele) Thiele of Amherst; grandfather of Emily and David Wanamaker, Andrew and Caroline Thiele; son of Elizabeth Thiele of Eustis, FL and the late Leonard Thiele; brother of Marie (William) Cole of Eustis, FL and is survived by many other loving family members.

response to an advert Hilda had placed in the Hanover Post requesting info on
her mother's side. Emma had married L.G. Schweitzer.

Her letter states: RR#2 Elmira, ON, Nov.12, 1945
Letter sent to Hilda: I read your advertisement in the personal column of this
weeks Hanover Post and as I went to school and Sunday School with your mother
and hwe sisters and as the late Fred Zarn (or is he still living ) was a first
cousin to my first husband Fred Kolpin, I was deeply interested. Your mother's
sisters names were Alvina (Mrs Reiner, Annie - married name not known, Elfreda
(Mrs. MWm. Witt, Marie - married name not known. There were also three
brothers, two of whom were named Henry and Don. I can get the address of Mrs.
W. Witt although I don't know it at the present moment.

I was living near Walkerton from 1910 to9 1916 and during that time your
parents lived on the station road at Walkerton and I know they had a little
girl but cannot remember her name but I have no doubt it was you.

A few lines later the list of heirs included Christian GERBER and Kedy(? ) KOBER. I was researching the GERBER line, but thought that the list of spouses would be o f interest to others as well.

Will probated 5/30/1809 showing he died 7/12/1797 in Lancaster Co Page 1007 showing wife and children with spouses of the girls. Name listed as Stahley.

After high school Tom worked at Regal Tip making drumsticks. 31100 Thomas A. Struzik, Sr. 76, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on July 1, 2018 at home.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY on April 21, 1942. The son of the late Peter and Wanda (Synorski) Struzik. 
Thomas was a Vietnam Veteran and was honorably discharged on April 28, 1974. He was a member of the D.A.V and Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 77, Tonawanda, NY. He owned and operated Center Gulf Service Station in the 70’s and retired from Dunlop tire in 2002.  Thomas also was a member of Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing Lotto and watching NASCAR racing.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Betty A. (Lashinsky) Struzik; one son, Thomas (Letrice) Struzik, Jr. of Pendleton, NY; two daughters, Judith Anne (John Grabowski) Nye of Niagara Falls, NY and Marie (Al) Penfield of Niagara Falls, NY; grandfather of Kristine Mease, Vincent Mease, Amber Penfield, AJ Penfield, Alyssa Penfield, Rene Fink and Nathan Fink; two sisters, Therese (John) Drozdowski of Niagara Falls, NY and Mary Anne (Charles) Reichert of Texas; one brother, John (Chris) Struzik of Niagara Falls, NY and several nieces and nephews.
