Couple Married
At Town Church
TOWN OP NIAGARA. Sept. 1
On Saturday at 2 p. m. Miss Sarah
Westcott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Lewis Westcott, became the bnde
of Mr. Gerald Townsend. son ot
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Townsend,
in a double ring ceremony at the
Niagara United Presbyterian church.
The Rev. William M. Harper of-
ficiated.
Mrs. Forrest Beirly sang. "Because,"
and 'Till the End of Tune."
Mrs. William Harper accompanied
her at the piano.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore a gown of lace
marquisette. Her net and lace veil
was held by a satin heart-shaped
bonnet. She carried & cascade bouquet
of white roses.
The matron of honor, Mrs. LeRoy
Clark, wore a de?p amber gown of
velvet and marquisette and carried
a bouquet of red roses.
The two bridesmaids. Miss Mildred
Westcott and Miss Dorothy Yoeco,
wore matching gowns of yellow marquisette
and pink marquisette. Both
carried bouquets of pink roses.
Mr. Gordon Townsend, brother of
the bridegroom, was the best man.
Mr. John Harvey and Mr. LeRoy
Clark were ushers.
The bride's mother wore powder
blue with black accessories and a
corsage of red roses while the bridegroom's
mother wore print with
grey accessories and corsage of red
rosea.
A reception was held at the Firemen's
club house.
Mr. and Mrs. Townsend left for a
motor trip to Canada and Toledo.
On their return they will reside at
8256 Bolller avenue.
