Miss Ada E. Davis, daughter of
Mr and Mrs. A. E. Davis, 813
Pierce avenue, and Mr. William F.
Budde, son of Mrs. Evelyn Rex-
ford, 634 Twenty-seventh street,
were united in marriage this after-
noon at 3 o'clock at St. James Meth-
odist church, the Rev. George W.
Keeling officiating.
Palms with the soft light from
the tall candelabra provided the
background for the ceremony. Miss
Onale Davis, sister of the bride,
was the soloisit with Mrs. James
Morton, aunt of the bride, at th e
organ.
Mrs. Kenneth Emerson was ma-
tron of honor and Miss Anale
Davis was maid of honor.
Mr. Herbert Schuler was the best
man and Mr. Erwin Schuler and
Mr. Charles O'Neil were the users.
Both Mr. Schulers are uncles of the
bridegoom.
The reception will be held at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard
Buckley, 2409 Michigan avenue,from
3 to 5 p.m.
The bride wore a brocade taf-
feta gown with a swetheart neck-
line and a short train. Her Juliet
cap had a fingertip tulle veil and
she carried white carnations cen-
tered with a corsage.
After a wedding trip the couple
wil reside at 140 Seventy-first
street.
