Haseley-DaVantler
Miss Helms; E. DeVantler and Mr.
Richard Haseley were united in marriage
at. the Sk James Lutheran
church, Bergholtx, on Saturday, October
25. at 5 o'clock, by the Rev.
O. Brass, pastor. The church was
decorated with vases and baskets
Of fall flowers. The musical setting
was provided by Mr. Theodore Grabau,
organist. Two sacred selections
were rendered by Miss Helen Mlllevllle.
Miss DeVantler is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. DeVantler,
of the Niagara Falls boulevard, and
Mr. Haseley is a son of Mrs. Albert
Haseley, of the Saunders Settlement
road, Sanborn.
The bride's wedding gown was of
Ivory slipper satin, fashioned with
long sleeves, lace inserts at the
shoulders and neckline and a row
of tiny buttons from the neck to the
waistline in the back and bad a
long train. Her illusion veil was
caught with a wreath of orange
blossoms and her bouquet was of
white roses, gardenias and lilles-ofthe-
valley.
Mrs. Erwin Pfohl, the bride's only
sister, acted as matron of honor and
Miss Elsie Mtlleville as bridesmaid.
The color scheme of their gowns,
bouquets and floral headdresses was
carried out in Talisman and white.
The groom was attended by Mr.
Erwin Pfohl and Mr. Benjamin
Haseley. The ushers were Messrs.
Albert Haseley and Erwin Beutel.
A wedding dinner was served at
the home of the bride to the members
of the immediate families.
After November 1 Mr. and Mrs.
Haseley will reside in their newlyerected
home in the Niagara Palls
boulevard.
Before her marriage Mrs. Haseley
was entertained at a kitchen shower
by Mrs. Martin Milleville and Mrs.
Erwin Pfohl and at variety showers
by Mrs. Erwin Beutel and Mrs.
Alvin Stoelting and. Misses Helen
and Elsie Milleville
