BERGHOLTZ, Aug. 12-The marriage
of Miss Althea Walck, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Walck.
of the Ward road, and Mr. Albert
Haseley, son of Mrs. Anna Haseley,
of the Saunders Settlement road,
was solemnized at the Holy Ghost
Lutheran church, here, on Saturday,
August 9, at 3:30 o'clock with
the Rev. John Kuchenbecker officiating
at the double ring ceremony..
The church was decorated
with palms and baskets oi yellow,
orchid, and white gladiolas and a
wedding bell decorated with larkspur,
gladioli, and white satin ribbon.
Mrs. Lester Wurl and Mrs. Marcus,
Haseley sang. "The Twenty-
Third Psalm," and "Jesus Savior
Pilot Me," accompanied by Mr. Carl
Koenke at the organ.
The bride, who was given In marriage
by her father; was attractively
attired in a gown of white
embroidered net over satin with a
satin bodice. The shadowed neckline
was trimmed with seeded beads.
The full skirt ended in- a long
graceful train. Her long veil, trimmed
with lace, fell from a tiara
of orange blossoms. She carried
a bouquet of white roses and baby
breath tied with white satin ribbon-
and streamers.
Miss Loralne Walck. sister of the
bride, was maid of honor. She wore
a gown of green marquisette and
carried a bouquet of yellow roses
and white baby breath tied with a
a green ribbon.
Jane Stocking was flower girl. She
wore a gown of white net over green
satin tied with green ribbons. Her
bouquet of yellow roses and white
baby breath was also tied with a
green ribbon. She received a heartshaped
gold bracelet with engraved
lnitials from the bride.
The bridesmaids were Mrs. Gladys
Haseley and Miss Joan Stoeltlng
who were similarly attired in yel-
low marquisette and carried yellow
roses, and orchid baby breath tied
with orchid ribbon. The other two
bridesmaids, Mrs Helma Heuer and
Miss Lois Hassan, wore orchid mar-
quisette and carried yellow roses
and orchid baby breath tied with
yellow ribbon. The bride presented
her attendants with heart-shaped
lockets and earrings
Mr. Benjamin Haseley, brother of
the groom, was the best man. the
ushers were Mr. Gilbert Walck and
Mr Chester Haseley. The groom's
gift to his bride was a string of
pearls.
The bride's mother wore a brown
and white dress and the grooms
mother was attired in navy blue.
They wore corsages of roses and
carnations.
A reception was h e l d for 225
guests at the Bergholtz Community
hall. The bride's table, at which
covers were laid for 36. was centered
with a four-tiered wedding cake
with a miniature bride and groom.
For traveling, the bride wore a
beige dress with brown accessories
and corsage of yellow roses and baby
breath. After their return they
will be at home In the Ward road.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Haseley of Sanborn celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family gathering. Mr. Haseley and Althea Walck were married Aug. 9, 1947, in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Bergholz. They are both retired. The couple has five children and five grandchildren.
