BERGHOLTZ, Oct. 19-Before
an altar banked with palms and
white mums. Miss Elva Rose Milleville
and Mr. Edward Walck exchanged
marriage vows at St James Lutheran
church. The Rev. Alfred
Walck, Webster, uncle of both the
bride and bridegroom, officiated at
the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Carl Milleville, Old Niagara
Falls boulevard, and the
bridegroom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. William Walck, Sanborn.
Miss Gertrude Walck, cousin of
both the bride and bridegroom,
played the organ. Miss Helen Milleville
and Miss Elsie Milleville, aunts
of the bride, sang, "My Shepherd,"
°'Oh Bless the House," "Today, O
Lord." and "We at Thine Altar
Stand."
The bride, entering the church on
the arm of her father, chose a
gown of traditional white satin,
fashioned with an illusion neckline
edged with rhinestones and bordered
with a ruffle of satin and lace. Her
full skirt ended in a long train. She
wore a long veil of nylon net
caught with a halo of orange blossoms.
She carried a bouquet of
white roses centered with a white
orchid and streamers.
Mrs. Wilbert Milleville, sister-inlaw
of the bride, was matron of
honor. She wore a gown of shrimpcolored
satin trimmed with lace. To
complete her ensemble she wore a
satin headpiece, trimmed with velvet
flowers and matching gauntlets. She
cararied a bouquet of talesmen roses
and mums.
Miss Gladys Walck, sister of the
bridegroom, was maid-of honor. She
wore a gown of Nile green satin
with matching headpiece and gauntlets.
Miss Dorothy Walck, Miss
Eunice Mueller and Miss Jean Millville,
sister of the bride, were bridesmaids.
They wore gowns similar to
that of the maid of honor in Nile
green and gold, and carried bouquets
of talesman roses. Miss Lots
Milleville, younger sister of the bride
was the junior bridesmaid. She wore
a gown of shrimp colored satin
with a Peter Pan collar and lace
insert. She carried a miniature
bouquet of talesman roses and
mums.
Mr. Wilbert Milleville, brother,
of the bride, was best man. The
ushers were Mr. Edgar Kroening.
Mr. Leonard Walck, Mr, Arnold
Walck and Mr. Vernon DeVantier.
The bride's mother wore a black
crepe dress with pink lace inserts and
accessories and a corsage of pink
roses. The bridegroom's mother
chose a grey dress with navy accessories
and corsage of pink roses.
The bride chose for her going
away costume a wine suit with grey
accessories and orchid corsage.
A four-tier wedding cake with
white candles and floral arrangements
of yellow and white mums
centered the bride's table at the
Bergholtz firchall, where a wedding
dinner was served for 280 guests,
following the ceremony.
The couple left for a wedding trip
to Washington, D. C. and will reside
at the home of the bride's parents.
