Mr. and Mrs. Edward Walck, Sanbom,
announce the engagement of
their daughter, Norine Marjorle, to
Mr. Bertrum Wendt, son of Mr.
and Mrs. William Wendt. also of
Sanborn. The wedding will take
place July 1.

wedding was solemnized at St
Peters church. Walmore. at 3
o'clock, July 1. when Miss Norlne
Walck daushter of Mr and Mrs
Edward Walck. Sanborn, was united
in marrage to Bertram F Wendt
son of Mr and Mrs William B
Wendt The Rev Martin Pempeit
officiated
The bride was lovelv in a prince-
ss style sweetheart neckline gown
of satin and lace trimmed with
orange blossoms. Her veil of illusion
was attached to a ruin of
seed pearls centered with a rhine-
stone heart, and she carried a cas-
cade bouquet of white carnations
centered with an orchid She wore
a strand of pearls. a gift from the
bridegroom
Glenn Wendt was his brother's
best man and the ushers were
Arnold Walck. brother of the
bride. Roger Walck. cousin of the
bride, and Marvin and Kenneth
Wendt. brothers of the bridegroom
Mrs Hazel Kroening. rouMn of
the bride. was matron of honor
She wore a pink nihrquiteite over
cascade bouquet of carnal ions
The bridesmaids were gowned
similar to the matron of honor
were Miss Mabel DeVantier, Miss
Gladys Walck. cousin of the bride,
Mrs. Jean Wendt and Miss Ruth
Wendt. Janls and Gerald Walck
twin brother arid sister of the
bride, acted as junior Attendants.
For her daughters wedding. Mrs.
Walck wore a dusty rose crepe
dress while Mrs. Wendt, the bride-
groom's mother, wore a pink print
dress. They both wore a pink and
white corsage of carnations.
After the ceremony a dinner was
served in the church basement to
200 persons and later in the eve-
ning a reception was held at the
home of the bride.
For her wedding trip to the
Thousand Islands and Lake Placid,
the bride chose a brown dressmaker
suit with orchid corsage.
Upon their return, Mr. and Mrs.
Wendt will be at home to their
friends at the home of the bride's
parents, Saunders Settlement road,
Sanborn.
