SANBORN - Miss Cheryl A. Kroening
Became the bride of James W. Kluss Saturday
' (Aug. 15, 1970) in a double ring ceremony
at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. The Rev.
Harold Baum officiated at the 4:30 p.m. service.
, The bride is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Clarence Kroening, 3219 Lockport Road,
Sanborn. Mr. Kluss is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Kluss, 119 sWaltercrest Terrace,
West Seneca.
Mr. Kroening gave his daughter in marriage.
Her wedding gown, of organza with
Chantilly lace featured a high neckline, Victorian
sleeves, an A-line skirt and a
detachable chapel length train. Her matching
petal shape headpiece secured -her bouffant
veil and she carried a bouquet of white roses.
Miss Linda Kroening was maid of honor
for her sister. She wore a mint green chiffon
gown with white lace outlining the empire
bodice, high neckline and long full sleeves.
A matching petal shape headpiece centered
with a daisy held her bouffant veil and she
carried a bouquet of daisies.
Similarly styled gowns were worn by
bridesmaids, Miss Sandra Kroening, sister of
the bride; Miss Elaine Kluss and Miss Bar*
bara Kluss, sisters of the bridegroom; Miss
Gail Wendt, and the flower, girl, Paula Behrens.
Paul Krellner, Bordentown, N.J., was best
man. Edward Thibault, West Seneca; Michael
Merrill, Buffalo; John Pluff and Gerald Iulg
were ushers. Mark Kroening was ring bearer.
A reception after the ceremony was held
at St. Johnsburg Fire Hall, North Tonawanda.
Bermuda is the honeymoon destination of Mr.
and Mrs. Kluss.
