The Evangelical Lutheran church,
Cayuga drive, was the setting for the
nuptials of Miss Eunice Joan
Mielke. daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Herbert Mielke, Lansing, III., and Mr.
Ronald W. Witt. North Tonawanda.
The Rev. Lawrence Herfurth per-
formed the ceremony.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride wore a gown of ivory satin
with inserts of imported rosepoint
lace. Her veil was of French illu-
sion held by a Juliet cap of pearls.
She carried a bouquet of white roses
and white carnations.
Mrs. Camden Schults. matron of
honor, Mrs. Lou Schmichel, Mrs.
William Grehe and Mrs. Anthony
Noone, bridesmaids, wore gowns of
white velva-ray organra, ballerina
length over blue taffeta. Matching
shoes and picture hats completed the
outfits. Eleanor Dee Noone, flower
girl, was attired in a gown fashioned
similarly to that of the bridesmaids,
All carried bouquets of mixed spring .
flowers.
Mr. William Grehr was best man.
Ushers were Messrs. William Witt,
Camden Schultz and Lou Schmichel.
A reception for 185 guests was
held at the Bergholtz firehall. After
a short wedding trip the couple will
reside in North Tonawanda.

Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Mielke of
18171 Maple St., Lansing, Ill. announce
the marriage of their
daughter, Miss Eunice J. Mielke
to Ronald W. Witt of 426 Schenck
St., on May 26 in Zion Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Niagara
Falls.
Peonies, white lilacs, gladioli,
baby breath and ferns banked
the altar of the church for the
ceremony.
The bride was gowned in white
satin with a front panel of rose
point lace -and two insertions of
lace in the cathedral length
train. A Juliet cap trimmed with
seed pearls held her fingertip
veil of illusion. She carried a
cascade bouquet of roses.
Attendants for the bride were
Mrs. Carl Schultz, maid-of-honor;
Mrs. William Greer, Mrs.
Louis Schmeichel and Mrs. Gerald
Noone, bridesmaids. Little
Eleanor Dee Noone was the
flower girl. All wore gowns of
white mousseline de soie over
pale blue taffeta with matching
picture hats and slippers. They
carried Lovers' Knot bouquets of
Spring flowers.
William Greer attended the
bridegroom as best man and
ushers were William Witt, Carl
Schultz and Louis Schmeichel.
The bride's mother chose a
rose crepe gown with lace peplum,
a small rose colored hat,
circled with roses, and a corsage
of roses.
A reception was held in the
Bergholtz Fire Hall with covers
for 20 at the bride's table. Baskets
of white gladioli and peonies
decorated the dining room
and summer flowers encircled
the wedding cake on the buffet.
Guests were present from Bergholtz,
Sanborn, Pekin. Niagara
Falls, Buffalo, Baltimore and
Lansing, Ill.
