The Hyde Park United Presbyterian
church was the setting for a
summer wedding Saturday afternoon
at 2 o'clock when Miss Dolores
Davey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Ernest Davey, North avenue, became
the bnde of Mr. Herbert
Adams. Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs.
Herbert Adams, Jerauld avenue. The
Rev. C. W. Pryor, pastor of the
church, officiated at' the ceremony
before an altar banked with palms
and baskets of mixed flowers.
The bride entered the church on
the arm of her father. She wore a
gown of ivory satin fashioned
torso lines with a sweetheart neck-
line embroidered with seed pearls
and rhinestones. The full skirt fell
in a long train. A tiara of seed
pearls and rhinestones, matching
the trim on her gown, held her
fingertip veil of illusion. The bride
carried a colonial bouquet of mixed
white flowers centered with white
roses.
Mrs. Olive Gage, sister of the
bride, was matron of honor. Miss
Lillian Hagar and Miss Peggy
Young were bridesmaids.
Mrs. Wayne Gage was the best
man. and Mr. Kenneth Hall and
Mr. Edward Reading were ushers.
After the ceremony a dinner for
the wedding party an immediate
families was held at the Prospect
house. Later in the evening a recep-
tion was held at the Stone Castle
inn, where the bride's table was
centered with a three tiered wedding
cake.
Upon their return from their trip
the bride and bridegroom will be
at home at 3514 North avenue.
