White gladioli and chrysanthemums adorned
the altar at the First Methodist Church, Buckhannon,
W.Va., May 16, , when Miss Sharon Keller
became the bride of Douglas Behm. The Rev. Dr.
Smith officiated.
The bride- is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs Edward
Keller of 6822 Slayton-Settlemerrt
Road, Lockport Mr.
and Mrs. Elton Behm of
5739 Stone Road, Lockport,
are the parents of the
bridegroom.
A chapel - length gown of
organza trimmed with Chantiny
lace was the choice of
the bride when given in marriage
by her father. An orange
blossom crown held her
illusion veil and she carried
white tea roses and pompons.
Miss Diane Remick of
Lockport served as the
honor attendant in a gown
of American Beauty rose
and carried a bouquet of
matching chrysanthemums.
Serving as attendant was
Miss Susan Steele of Latrobe,
Pa., identically attired
but in aqua. Both Miss
Remick and Miss Latrobe
are roommates of the bride
at West Virginia Wesleyan
College, Buchannon.
Serving her sister as junior
bridesmaid was Patricia
Keller wearing a yellow nylon
gown created with an
embroidered overskirt.
Students of the college provided
traditional wedding
music.
Duane Behm of Lockport
served as his brother's best
man and ushers were James
Keller brother of the bride
and John Hoomans, formerly
of Lockport and now a
student at the college.
Following the reception in
the church parlors, t h e
couple left for a brief wedding
trip. For traveling, the
bride chose a beige nubby
weave suit with a flowered
blouse and beige accessories.
They will make their
home in Lockport.
The bride is a graduate of
Royalton - Hartland Central
School and attended West
Virginia Wesleyan College at
Buckhannon The groom, a
graduate of Lockport Senior
High School, attended
Erie County Technical Institute
at Buffalo and is employed
by the Harrison Radiator
Division of General
Motors Corp. at Lockport
