THE CHAPEL of the Niagara Falls Air
Force Base was the setting today (Oct. 10,
1964) for the 11 a.m. wedding of Miss Marilyn
E. May and Airman l.C. James H. Updegraff.
Rev. Edmund Fleming officiated at the
double-ring ceremony uniting the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond May, Lockport
Road, Sanborn, and the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Joseph Updegraff, Windber, Pa.

ESCORTED TO THE ALTAR by her father,
the bride wore a gown of white peau
de soie with appliqued lace flowers' and
a chapel-length train.
A crown of embroidered flowers trimmed
with sequins held a shoulder-length
veil. She carried a cascade of white mums
and dracena leaves.
Maid of honor was Miss Donna May,
sister of the bride, wearing a floor-length
iridescent blue peau de soie gown. A bow
in matching material held her circular veil.
She carried a colonial bouquet of yellow
pompons.

SIMILARLY ATTIRED were the bridesmaids,
Miss Carolyn Elworthy, Buffalo, and
Miss Maureen Hanks, Rochester.
Eugene Updegraff was his brother's best
man. Ushers were William Krull, Sanborn,
and another of the bridegroom's brothers,
Donald Updegraff, Mount Clemens, Mich.
A dinner and afternoon reception were
held at the Continental Inn. The couple
will reside at 282 Miller St., North Tonawanda,
upon returning from a wedding
trip through central Pennsylvania.
