In a colorful setting and surrounded by 115 relatives
and friends, Mr. and Mrs. Edward O'Connor, 431 Fletcher
St., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday
evening at the Buffalo Trap and Field Club. Children of the
couple were hosts at the anniversary party.
The hall was beautifully decorated
for the occasion. Music was
furnished by Erlenbach's orchestra
for dancing and a buffet supper
was served late in the evening.
Mr. and Mrs. O'Connor (Mrs.
O'Connor was the former Pauline
Winters) met at the turn of the
century and were married June
24, 1902 in Barker. In 1914 they
moved to Tonawanda where they,
stnl reside. They have six children,
a daughter, Mrs. Bert Mc-
Kim of Kenmore, five sons: Vincent,
Francis. Edward. George
and Charles, are eight grandchildren,
al lof Tonawanda.
Both Mr. and Mrs. O'Connor
have enjoyed exceptionally good
health throughout their married
life. Mr. O'Connor is employed as
a guard at the Erie County Savings
Bank.
Among those attending were
guests from Lockport, Barker,
Gasport and Niagara Falls.
