fourth street, announces the engagement
of her sister. Miss Adelaide
L. Pike, to Mr. Daniel Beecher,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Beecher,
of Sanborn. N. Y. The wedding will
take place May 29.

The marriage of Miss Adelaide
Luciele Pike, daughter of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Albert H. Pike, of this
city, to Mr. Daniel M. Beecher, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Beecher, of
Sanborn, N. Y , was solemnized
Thursday. May 29, at 2 p. m., at the
First Baptist church in Sanborn.
The Rev. Frank Taft performed the
ceremony.
The bride was lovely in a nudewhite
dress, with ail white accessories,
and wore a corsage of white
rosebuds.
Mrs. Donald Beecher. who was
the bride's only attendant, wore a
yeflow dress, with white accessories
and a corsage of pink roses.
Mr. Donald Beecher, twin brother
of the bridegroom, was the best
man. ^
After a trip to the Thousand Islands,
Mr. and Mrs. Beecher wfll be
at home to their friends at 203 Sixth
street, this city.
Pre-nuptials affairs for the bride
were a kitchen shower by Mrs.
Charles Pike, a personal shower by
Mrs. Mark Beecher and Mrs. La
Verne Martyn In Sanbom, a linen
shower by Mrs. D . Calato, a group
shower by co-workers of the American
Salesbook company at the Imperial
hotel and a miscellaneous
shower by Mrs. Clair Beecher In
Sanborn.
