The marriage of Miss Dorothy
Ann Dann, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs,. Oran Dann, of Niagara ave-
nue, and Mr. Maurice St. Denny,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy St. Denny,
of Lewiston road, was solemnized
Saturday morning at 8 o'cloclk at
the Sacred Heart church, with the
Rev. John J. Sheeny officiating.
Pink gladiioli decorated the church
for the wedding ceremony.
the bride, who was given in mar-
riage by her father, wore white
moire fashioned with puffed sleeves,
the skirt having the new bustle ef-
fect. Her cap was made of tiny
white flowers and her bouquet was
of white roses and baby's breath.
Miss Doris St. Denny, sister of the
bridegroom, wore a windsor blue
gown made on the same lines as
that of the bride and her bouquet
was of pale yellow roses.
Mr. James Dann, brother of the
bride, was the best man of the
ushers were Mr. Jack REagan, of
Corning, N.Yl., cousin of the bride,
and Mr. Paul Schaffer, of this city.
A corsage of yellow roses was
worn with black silk by the mother
of the bride and teal blue was the
shade of the gown worn by the
mother of the bridegroom. She also
wore a corsage of yellow roses.
A wedding dinner was served at
the Imperial hotel for the members
of the immediate families and from
1 to 4 o'clock a reception was held
at the home of the bride's parents.
Mr. and Mrs. St. Denny left later
for a trip, the bride traveling in an
ensemble of black and white.
Among the out-of-town guests at-
tending the wedding and reception
were Mrs. J.W. Readan and daugh-
ters, Ruth and Helen, and a son,
Jack, of Corning, N.Y.; Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Barenthaler, of Buf-
falo; Mr. and Mrs. George Hayslip
and Mrs. Winifred Dawn and
daughter, Patricia, of Tonawanda.
