Sacred Heart Church was the setting for the marriage rite
of Miss Janet Ann Sullivan, to Andrew H,. Nowak this morning
(June 16, 1956) at 10 o'clock. The Rev. Francis Gardner
performed the double-ring ceremony for the daughter of
Mrs. Daniel A. Sullivan, Cleveland Ave. and the late Mr.
Sullivan, and the son of Henry Nowak, A St., and the late
Mrs. Nowak.
Henry Collins,- uncle of the
bride, escorted her to the altar.
Her gown, fashioned of lace and
tulle, was styled with a Sabrina
neckline and a full skirt with inserts
of ruffled tulle extending
(o a cathedral-length train. A
beaded queen's crown held a
veil of illusion, and she carried
an orchid mounted on a prayer
book.
Miss Joan Sullivan was maid
of honor and bridal attendants
were Mrs. Lester Gillian and
Miss Pauline Nowak. They wore
orchid nylon chiffon gowns with
picture hats. Mary Lou Roy was
flower girl.
Henry Nowak Jr., was best
man, and ushers were William
Oliver and David Roy.
