WILSON- Before an alter decorated
with ????? and bouquets of white gladiolas
????? Miss Victor Ann Marshman
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Marshman,
?????? became the bride of Charles
Earle Swann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earle
L. Swamm, Seminary Street.
The wedding took place Saturday, Aug
4, 1962 in Wilson Baptist Church with
Rev. Mason Smith officiating at the double
ring ceremony.
ESCORTED to the altar by her father,
the bride wore a Chantilly lace gownn
trimmed with pearls. The bottom of the
bouffant skirt was fashioned with French
toulle and lace appliques and pearls.
Her headpiece included a princess cap
of ???????????? with French tulle and
?????????. She carried a cascade of
wite ?????????????mums centered
with a white and ???? orchid corsage.
MISS SALLY KOPP, maid of honor,
and Miss Peggy ??? Schrader, bridesmaid,
wore ???? taffeta sheaths with nylon
taffeta ovrskirts embroidered in contrast-
ing colors ????? petaled caps with pearl
appliques and circular veils and cascade
boouquets of carnations completed their
ensemble.
David Secor was best man and Gregory
Swann, brother of the bridegroom, Robert
Martin and Phillip Toeniessen served as
ushers.
A RECEPTION was held at South
Wilson Fire Hall.
The bride's mother received guests in
a green silk sheath with beige accessories
and a corsage of pink roses. the bride-
groom's mother chose a royal blue silk
crepe sheath with white accessories and a
pink rose corsage.
After a wedding trip to the Thousand
Islands, the couple will reside in W. Lake
Road.
