SANBORN, Feb. 14—The marriage
of Miss Dorothy Knowles, 2410 Avenue
Bu Schenectady, .daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Jay Knowles, to Mr.
Hubert E. Stubbs. of Sanborn, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert D. Stubbs,
took place at the First Methodist
church, Schenectady. The Rev. F. C.
Zaph officiated.
Given In marriage by her parents,
the bride wore a gown of white satin
with a sweetheart neck, trimmed
with seed pearls, long pointed
sleeves and long train. The veil,
trimmed in French lace, fell from a
crown of seed pearls and the bride
carried a bouquet of white roses and
lily of the valley.
Mrs. Raymnd Belanger, matron of
honor, wore Ice blue satin with
French paneled front, with bustle
effect back and flare skirt. She carried
a bouquet of pink roses with
lily of the valley.
Mr. Wallace Schultz. Sanborn, was
best man. The ushers were Mr. Raymond
Belanger, Schenectady, and
Mr. Edward Strube, Trenten, N. J.
Miss Virginia Edmunds, Utica,
cousin of the bride, was soloist.
A reception took place after the
ceremony In the church parlors.
Several solo selections were given by
Miss Edmunds, accompanied by Mrs.
Edward Lange.
The bride is a graduate of Nott
Terrace high school and is employed
by the General Electric company.
Mr. Stubbs served a year and a half
in the Naval Air Force and is now
a senior at Union college.
After the wedding trip to Danbury,
Conn., the couple will reside at
2410 Avenue B, Schenectady.
